I never usually write out reviews to places that I visit despite how good the services are. I just tend to go back again to show how much I love and appreciate the space. However, with this place, I feel like I've gotta share it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted so warmly and welcomed immediately in for my appointment by my stylist, Bryn. Today was my first time at The Refinery House and I had a long day booked with her for a haircut, partial highlights and a lash lift! Calling her service AMAZING, would be an understatement. She took such good care of me from the minute I walked in till the moment I walked out. She showed me so much compassion, understanding and patience while we figured out what to do with my hair. As a curly haired girl, stylists usually showed signs of intimidation to tackle my hair in the past, but with Bryn, she showed so much enthusiasm and excitement for what we could make of it. She was gentle, often checked in and walked me through the entire process as she did my hair/lashes and a sidenote: she also makes really great conversation throughout it all, it was almost like visiting a friend and having them do your hair for fun! I remember sitting in my chair with my hair not even out of the foils yet thinking about how I was going to leave the salon a great review because I felt so well cared for. I absolutely love the results I got today and I'll definitely be back again. If you're reading this, Bryn, Thank you so much!! You're awesome and I hope to book with you again!!

This was my first visit to the salon and I had an incredible experience with Erin. She gave me a trim that turned into one of my all-time favorite haircuts! Erin is so personable and genuinely kind—she made me feel comfortable from the second I sat down. It’s hard to find a stylist who nails the look while making the whole process so enjoyable. I’ve definitely found my new go-to spot. Highly recommend seeing Erin!

I am writing to share my recent experience at Refinery House. Initially, I was quite nervous and embarrassed about calling to request a correction on my balayage, as it’s something I’ve never done before. However, the lovely young woman who handled my booking immediately put me at ease and assured me it wasn't a problem. My follow-up appointment was with Alex, and she was truly incredible. She took the time to thoroughly discuss why the initial results weren't hitting the mark and explored better options without ever making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. The result was the best colour, haircut and blowout I’ve had in a long, long time. I also appreciated that she recommended maintenance options and products at my request while remaining mindful of my budget and never being pushy. Her professionalism, kindness and skills meant so much. I’ve also had my haircut by Rukhsana who is equally amazing. Beyond the service, I want to commend the atmosphere at this salon. It is so refreshing to see a team that is genuinely kind to both customers and each other. There is a wonderful 'women supporting women' energy here, free of any 'mean girl' vibes and it is never super loud. Thank you for such a professional and kind experience!

I cannot recommend Hannah enough! My hair was very damaged and uneven, and she worked absolute magic. She perfectly matched my roots and gave me the most beautiful caramel balayage. Not only does my color look gorgeous, but my hair has honestly never felt this healthy. She’s so talented and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process. I finally love my hair again—thank you!
