I have been going to Red Bloom Hair Salon for several years. i am delighted to have Tom as my hair dresser. He has created the perfect colour for me, the one I should have had all of my life. He has been doing this for many months now, and his care and expertise are exemplary. He is also gracious and entertaining, and I wish everyone to know that if Tom is your hair warrior, you are in very good hands. I am always delighted by the results. Tom took a lot of time to get to know me and what my hair care routine and daily commitment to styling really looked like, and what I truly wanted in a cut and style. I am so pleased with the outcome and the 4 hours we spent together flew by! I will be back, and I highly recommend Tom!

I recently moved to Calgary and wasn’t sure where to go to get my hair cut but so glad I came here! I had Brinley as my stylist - she did exactly what I was looking for I left feeling refreshed and she was so sweet and gentle. The rest of the staff were super nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back regularly.

I went to RedBloom Salon based on all the great reviews, and specifically chose Kassandra because she is listed as a master stylist and her Instagram showed several brunette balayage transformations similar to what I wanted. CJassandra was honestly very kind during the appointment, but sadly, what I asked for and what I received were completely different. I paid over 400 Canadian dollars for a balayage that was only applied to the top half of my hair — the lower half was left completely dark, almost black. It makes absolutely no sense to pay that amount for such an incomplete job. After returning to my home country, I went to another salon to try to fix it. The first thing they told me was, “We’ve never in our lives seen a balayage applied only on the top half of someone’s head.” They were genuinely confused. To make it worse, the color was extremely YELLOW — and honestly, it looks slightly better in photos than it does in person. In person, it’s PATCHY and BRASSY. I think this is the WORST my hair has ever looked after a salon appointment. The truth is, I feel SCAMMED. I trusted this salon because I truly believed I was putting my hair in the best possible hands — and I walked out with a yellow top and black bottom. Half of my hair is yellow now, and the other half is black. I don’t understand how anyone thought this was a finished balayage. I’m truly disappointed I chose this salon, especially one with such high ratings. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it based on my experience.
