Used to love this salon. I got a root melt and highlights with my usual stylist, and after I left I realized my hair was a mess. Blotchy highlights and colour (photos attached). My roots “didn’t take the colour” and I have the darkest band now from the stylist trying to go darker to fix the mistake. This stylist wasn’t sure what happened or how to fix it. I was offered a free appointment to try again. It was even worse when I left so I went to a different salon. Rebel X only offered to cover the colour at the different salon. I spent $620 on my appt, received $300, wasted over 12 hours in Rebel X’s salon, in the busiest month of the year (December). People make mistakes, but not offering a full refund is not good business. I will not be going back.

Just saw Naf at Rebel X and he crushed it. Best fade I’ve had in Calgary. He’s super precise and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommend booking with him

Just went here for my second time since the first time was great, unfortunately my second time here wasn't favourable. While the individual doing my hair was brushing it out they snagged my helix peircings enough times that the surrounding area was so inflamed my partner thought I should go to the doctor to get it checked out. When the time came to actually cut my hair I stated that I just wanted a maintenance trim to get rid of any damage and split ends and to style it, without checking if the amount they were planning to cut off was good they snipped off around three inches. I was disappointed to say the least as I am still trying to keep growing it out longer but at that point it was too late. On a more positive note I will be going back again, albeit booking with a different person as they have a wonderful little shop with a great vibe and location. My hair did look good after the cut as well but was just shorter than I had wanted.

Trendy little salon that has a variety of very friendly and talented stylists. I drove across the city to try it out, and brought back three of my nephews the next day. If you're looking for a new salon, don't skip this one.

Absolutely love my hair every single time! She’s the best at extensions — super talented, professional, and genuinely such a sweet person. You can tell she really cares about her clients and their hair. I always leave feeling confident and so thankful I found her!
