BEST BROWS! I have been coming to this salon for some time now and could not be happier with the services provided. I used to live DT and have been to many salons but this one is by far the BEST threading I have had done. Lucky is an incredible technician (all the ladies there are lovely) her soft and kind approach makes you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout. I highly recommend this salon.

I had a hit and miss experience with this place. On the one hand, they do a good job, I never walked out of there unhappy with how my brows looked. The price is good too. On the other hand, though, the service leaves much to be desired. They don't take appointments, so it's always a walk in and you have to wait however long it takes. That includes haircut and nail appointments mixed in with the brow ones and a total lack of communication about how long your wait might be. They also get distracted once you sit in the chair to answer the phone, talk to people who walk in, etc. So long and short, if you are thinking about quickly running to get your brows done and returning to work this plan might backfire. I get a feel that this place caters more to ladies who don't have jobs. It also made me cringe every time they told some poor person 'Oh lots of hair...' in front of the whole salon. An aesthetician is a trusted person who takes care of things you want corrected, so their job is to do so discretely, without making people feel uncomfortable. I understand that these ladies come from a different culture, where saying things more directly is more acceptable, but I feel like they can benefit from being more mindful and aware of how these topics are approached here. So it depends on what you are after and how much of a problem the wait and comments are for you.

Poor customer service. Clear bias in how different customers are treated. Despite calling ahead and being told there will be no wait, you’ll be asked to wait 15 minutes. Once you get seated, they make comments stating it must have been weeks since you’ve come in and that’s why the eyebrow threading is taking too long, when in reality they paused over 10 times to greet others who walk in. They’ll look at each other to ask how much to charge in a different language (when my wife understood) and then charged $12.60 for something that is clearly listed as $8 online. When asked when prices changed, they didn’t have an answer and just laughed. Very disappointed as my wife liked coming here since we live close by and don’t always have time to drive to Surrey for something that is significantly cheaper there. Normally she’s so happy after getting threading or waxing done but today she was frustrated, felt insulted and cheated.

Thank you Lucky for such a great experience! This was my first Oxygeneo facial and my first facial since the pandemic. I normally have facials at a high end, well known spa because I have sensitive skin (and trust issues, lol) but Qua Spa will become my new regular. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the spa was clean. Highly recommend this place for facials. Can’t wait for my next one, thanks again!

I went there today for a haircut and eyebrow threading. I was there 3 months ago and the experience was pleasant. Today was so disappointing. I had an appointment for 10:30 and when I entered the salon I was greeted with a cold tone. I introduced myself and told her why I was there. I felt very much like I was bothering her. The energy was off. She seemed unhappy. My haircut was done in 10 minutes and barely dried. It was one degree outside. My eyebrows done in 5 minutes. Both appointments took a total of 15 minutes. Her communication with me was very curt. Not one ounce of softness. When the phone rang she was friendly to them. Clearly she thought I could be taken advantage of and given poor service. Who knows. That place is not my cup of tea ever!!!
