I visited Q Nails Salon (CrossIron Mills) for a manicure, and unfortunately, my experience was painful. The technician was in a rush and cut my cuticles too aggressively, which left them sore for several days. Additionally, while buffing, the edges of my skin were hurt. I hope the salon addresses these issues and ensures staff take more care with clients in the future. They’re also unable to communicate and understand English.

I had the most relaxing experience during my pedicure. The massage was honestly the best part. The pressure was perfect and they took their time instead of rushing through it. My legs felt so light and refreshed after. The whole vibe was calm and peaceful, and I left feeling fully reset. If you need a little self-care moment, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Vanessa did my nails today, she did an amazing job! Very fast and friendly service and she made great conversation during. I will definitely be back to see her specifically!

Giving this place one star is being far too generous. This is by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. The staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I went in simply to have my existing color removed and get a French manicure. I ended up spending over two hours in the salon and left with the worst nails I have ever had. My cuticles were bleeding, and my nails were cut so short that my skin was actually cut and is now visible under my nails. A woman with blonde hair started doing my nails and was extremely rude and arrogant from the beginning. She used the electric nail file directly on my cuticles on my right hand, which was very painful and caused bleeding. When I asked her to please be careful, she dismissed me and said it had nothing to do with her and that I was bleeding because my “hands are dry.” I have had my nails done many times and have never been told that bleeding is caused by dry hands. She then cut my nails without asking what length I wanted, cutting them so short that she cut into my skin. She filed each nail into a different shape without asking my preference. Throughout the appointment, she complained about feeling unwell due to stomach issues and was very unpleasant the entire time. When she started the French tips, they looked extremely sloppy, as if a child had painted them. I politely asked her to fix them, and she responded arrogantly, saying everyone does nails differently and that this was how she does them. I explained that I understood, but since I was paying, I needed to be happy with the result. At that point, she got up, refused to continue, and handed me off to another technician. The second technician was kind and professional and immediately agreed that the work was unacceptable. She had to remove everything the first technician had done, file my nails again, apply antiseptic to all my cuts, and redo the entire service. My nails are now paper-thin and severely damaged. You can visibly see my skin coming up underneath my nails. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, I was overcharged. This was truly the icing on the cake. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go anywhere else.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Janice is absolutely the BEST at Q Nails! Every time I get my nails done by her, she makes sure everything is exactly how I want it — from the shape to the color and every tiny detail. She’s super talented, gentle, and always greets me with the most beautiful smile. 💖 She makes the whole experience so relaxing and fun with her sweet personality and great conversation. I always leave with flawless nails and a happy heart. Highly recommend Janice — 10/10 every single time! 💅✨
