While I have no issue with the dentist I take issue with the office staff, specifically Tara. We have since stopped going to this location and now need to find another office. The backstory: Before booking our appointments, we would ask the office staff if the procedure was covered by our insurance and would be told if it was or not. The problem: My husband was not informed that his booked procedure had been denied (this was later confirmed by our insurance) days before it was done and the office staff confirmed he was “good to go” and let him have the procedure done. Over a month later we get phone calls and emails regarding several hundred dollars owed. Tara not only doesn’t call my husband (the person involved) she only tries contacts myself. She gave us one week to sort it out and when we tried to get in contact we didn’t hear back until after the new year. And were told “they were closed” when I sent a follow up email. Once my husband physically went in to ask what was going on he was threatened with collections for an error THEY made that we had to investigate with our insurance over a month later. And upon investigation it appeared nearly 90% of our procedures had some kind of error, errors which never showed up when comparing it to our last dentist. I do not recommend this office as you might be incorrectly billed weeks after you were told you were covered. NEVER have I been to an office that required me to confirm with my insurance to ensure they were not incorrectly billing procedures.

Absolutely terrible customer service from this dental office. First the hygienist refused to clean my teeth unless I got x-ray's done. In the past, I have been able to sign a waiver form stating that I refuse to get x-rays done, this time she told me that she couldn't clean my teeth unless I got them done. The pressure this dental office put's on you is insane. This should be a very streamlined process as we have insurance coverage. Then after I am all done with my cleaning, they tell me I have to pay for the fluoride application. I asked why my insurance didn't cover this and the receptionist told me that my plan doesn't cover fluoride and to talk to them (when in fact we do have 100% coverage). When they handed me the form that showed it was declined, right on it it said "benefit for this procedure has a frequency limitation of once every 6 months". Once I read that I figured out that because they rescheduled by appointment from February 8th (6 months from my last appointment) to the February 2nd, my benefits wouldn't cover the fluoride because it was done prior to the 6 month mark. After I tried telling them this, they kept cutting me off telling me that it is my insurance and to reach out to them. I paid the cost of the fluoride and left the office. I called my insurance company and they in fact confirmed that we have coverage for the fluoride application however, the procedure was done twice in 6 months. When I called the receptionist back to advise that I do in fact have coverage but the reason it was declined was because they rescheduled me for a sooner appointment, she told me that it was in fact written in my file but the hygienist must've forgotten to advise me of the charge during my cleaning appointment and that was it. She didn't apologize, didn't say please come in and we will refund you as this is our fault, nothing. She was extremely rude in person and over the phone. I had to get my husband to call in and speak with the manager to get it sorted out. Even when he called in and spoke with the same receptionist her attitude was terrible. In the end, I was fully refunded as it was their fault that they did not provide me with anything prior to my appointment about what my insurance wasn't covering AND the fact that they rescheduled me SOONER than the 6 months. I have cancelled all of my future appointments with this dental office and me and my 3 children are now switching dentists and will never go back to this office again.

I have really appreciated the dental care I have received at Promontory Dental Centre. The dentist and dental hygienists take great care - always checking my comfort - whether I'm in pain or any discomfort. They are also mindful costs for a patient on a budget, which I really appreciate. I love the fact that I get an estimate of cost emailed to me or given directly before any work is done. The find the whole staff to be friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend Promontory Dental Centre. I'm very happy with the dental care I've received there.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and had an excellent experience. I’ve also had other treatments with Dr. Kermani in the past, and each time everything has gone smoothly. Dr. Kermani and the team are professional, caring, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I truly appreciate the great care and would highly recommend them.

It was a very good appointment. Dr. Kermani is a very knowledgeable and experienced dentist. He found a small piece of a tooth root that had been left in my gum since I was 17, I’m 35 now, and none of the dentists I had seen before ever mentioned it. He clearly explained everything about the treatment and all the options I have, both for cosmetic reasons and for keeping my teeth healthy. Simran is one of the most professional hygienists I’ve ever had. She was so fast and made my teeth feel amazingly clean, especially after a year without cleaning! All the staff and the front desk team are very nice. I was really happy with my visit. The most important thing for me is to have a skilled and experienced dentist, and to feel that I’m in good hands, and I truly did. :)
