I cannot say enough good things about this mechanic shop. I was driving on the highway when my serpentine belt snapped. I'm not from the area and this was the first shop I called. Ayla was super helpful on the phone and let me know I could bring my car in right away, and recommended a tow truck company for me to call since I was stuck just off the highway. Once I got to the shop Jesse replaced my serpentine belt, let me know what other work I needed done (and did his best to explain it to me in a way I could understand as a not mechanically inclined person), and was understanding about what I could and couldn't afford at that time. The work was excellent and quick, and I think the price was fair. If I'm ever in Nanaimo and need more work done on my car I'll definitely be back!

Great experience with Precise! Perfect location right across the street from Woodrgove Mall. I had a major inspection completed which is a 58-point inspection of the vehicle. I received regular updates from their team as my car was being inspected and a detailed summary of recommended services + pricing was provided to help me decide if I needed to get any additional work done. Everything was reasonably priced, the team was very friendly, and I plan to use Precise for mechanical services moving forwards. Thank you for doing such a great job, highly recommend!

Super impressed with Hammond Bay Rd location. Excellent customer service, honest and very accommodating. Ayla and the team at Precise are great. I had exhaust system issues, and Ayla was able to get me i quickly and at a convenient time; I was given the necessary diagnostics, options as to what they could do for me, and what was/wasn't necessary and a very agreeable quote. All said, I had the entire system from motor to tail pipe replaced (my choice, after the options given to me), and my truck has not run better, it's lije a new truck. I can't believe the difference in power, acceleration etc. Super impressed with service, and care. Thank you to Ayla and the team!! Will be gratefully be recommending. Cheers!

I Highly recommended Precise. They provided comfort and transparency from start to finish regarding any repairs or recommendations. Right from stepping through the door, you're greeted by a very genuine staff member ( Ayla) who helps keep things clear and easy to understand. All work was discussed and approved by me before any additional steps or actions were taken. Once the work was completed and during vehicle pick up I was warmly greeted again by the very kind and informative mechanic who worked on my vehicle ( James ). He took the time to go over every step and patiently answer my MANY questions and future concerns. Overall I feel Precise offers and delivers a very trusted and professional honest car service. I have Zero hesitation and full confidence in any future workings with Precise.

If you have a nice car that you care about lot about. Precise Mechanical Repairs is the place to visit! I have had both of my Pontiacs (95’ Trans Am & 97’ GTP) get work done by this awesome crew, with my Trans Am even receiving an engine out mini rebuild! • Their communication and honesty is top notch and they are very professional regarding thorough and proper repairs! My T/A’s small block was leaking oil and running alright when I brought it to them. By the time it was done, it was running like never before. Felt like a new car. Not a drop of oil on my driveway anymore! They even repainted, detailed and cleaned up my entire engine/engine bay and transmission! Under the hood it looks brand new like it just rolled out of the factory in Quebec!!! • Josh was very kind and honest and invited me by the shop to show his progress! Ayla was fantastic and relaying information and checking with me to get permission on repairs done beforehand :) They are a real straight shooting shop with an honest and friendly workforce.
