I had the same jacket dry cleaned here twice about a month apart. The first time I paid $22.05, and the second time I was charged $40.96 for the exact same jacket. When I reached out to Port Moody Busy Bee to ask about the significant price increase, I was initially told they weren’t sure how that could happen because items are weighed for pricing. I later followed up with the owner for clarification, and she explained that the first price was actually a “great deal” because an inexperienced employee had incorrectly priced the service. This explanation was completely different from what I was originally told and raises concerns for me about the consistency and transparency of their pricing practices. For that reason, I can’t recommend Port Moody Busy Bee. I prefer supporting businesses that have clearer and more consistent pricing. That said, I’m giving two stars because I did appreciate their locker system, which allowed me to pick up my dry cleaning at any time. I also have no complaints about the quality of the dry cleaning itself. However, I did notice their prices seem to be higher than other dry cleaners in the area, which I initially didn’t mind because of the convenient location.

I had this horrible chili oil stain in my wool sweater and went to more than 3 dry cleaners in the vicinity, begging for help. The other two turned me away, stating that the dry cleaning process would damage my garment. One even told me to put it in the washing machine despite care instructions saying “dry clean only”. This family-owned franchise is extremely knowledge, reassured me that they would do everything they can without damaging my garment. Penny was the sweetest! It came back 2 days later looking brand new! I am so happy, and will be so loyal to this location. Highly recommend!

Penny is the absolute best and the service she provides is unreal! I say this because she is honest about any service I inquire when it comes to big items in my home I need cleaning. She has gone as far as having an area rug washed and dried in 1 day as well as folded in a plastic bag when I picked it up. Penny you are amazing and wonderful! This location is the only Busy Bee I will continue to go back to.

I was given this coat as a thank you for some work I did in the Ukraine this summer. It’s a vintage piece, a Russian Major General in charge of a tank group. It had likely not been cleaned in a very long time and was filthy. After a good smudging I took it to Port Moody Busy Bee Drycleaners to see if they could do anything with it… they did a phenomenal job, it looks new. I appreciated the care and attention they gave it… I dealt with two different staff in dropping it off and picking it up, both were extremely competent, respectful, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you!!
