I am writing this review to share a very serious and distressing experience I had at this clinic with Dr. He. My previous review posted two weeks ago was hidden. At the end of my acupuncture treatment, Dr. He asked me to get up and change. As I moved off the treatment bed, I felt sudden and intense pain in my right lower back/hip area. Only then did I discover that one acupuncture needle had been left inside my body and was not removed. Because I was completely unaware that a needle was still there, my movement caused significant pain. It has now been over a week, and this incident has forced me to see my family doctor multiple times and undergo X-ray examinations, costing me a great deal of time, energy, and emotional stress. What made this situation even worse was Dr. He’s attitude afterward. I met with him twice to discuss possible solutions, and on both occasions, his attitude was extremely unprofessional. There was no apology at all, and he behaved as if my ongoing medical visits and examinations had nothing to do with his mistake. At one point, he stated that he could not continue treating me because he “could not guarantee that he wouldn’t forget to remove a needle again.” This statement was honestly shocking. Patient safety is a basic professional responsibility, not an optional guarantee. He refused any form of compensation and refused to refund the treatment fee. Initially, he claimed he would take responsibility for the pain but insisted that any further treatment must be paid. Later, he went even further and stated that he would no longer take responsibility for the pain at all. I have lived in Canada for many years, and I have never encountered a healthcare provider who showed such a lack of responsibility, accountability, and basic professional ethics. This experience has been both physically painful and deeply upsetting. I strongly urge others to consider patient safety and professional attitude carefully before choosing this clinic

Im very happy with Plaza Physiotherapy clinic. From first time I come, the front desk is very friendly and helpful. They always smile and make me feel welcome. The clinic is very clean and professional. The practitioners are very patient and explain everything clearly to me. I never feel rush during appointment. After few visits, I feel much better and more strong. Pain reduce a lot and I feel more confident with my movement. I really trust this clinic and feel they truly care about patients. I highly recommend Plaza Physiotherapy to anyone who need good and honest care.

I’ve had such a positive experience at Plaza Physiotherapy seeing both the physiotherapy team and Dr. He. The physiotherapy sessions were thorough, one-on-one, and tailored specifically to my needs. My physio took the time to assess properly, explain what was happening in my body, and create a clear treatment plan. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my pain, mobility, and overall strength. I also see Dr. He for naturopathic care and acupuncture, and his treatments have made a huge difference in reducing tension and supporting my recovery. He is incredibly thorough, combines techniques effectively, and always makes sure I understand the treatment approach. The clinic is welcoming, professional, and truly focused on patient care. I’ve been seeing both Reshma (physiotherapist) and Dr. He (naturopathic doctor) at Plaza Physiotherapy, and I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received. Reshma took the time to really listen, explain what was going on, and create a treatment plan that made sense for my body and my goals. Her hands-on work and exercise guidance have helped reduce my pain and improve my mobility more than I expected. She’s warm, professional, and always makes me feel comfortable and supported. I also see Dr. He for naturopathic care and acupuncture, and his treatments have made a huge difference in my overall Sciatic pain and tension. He is very thorough, combines different techniques in one session, and explains everything clearly so I always understand what we’re working on. The front desk team is also friendly and organized, Mariana is a great soul and was very friendly and attentive. Booking through their online system is easy and the space is clean and inviting. Overall, Plaza Physiotherapy is a fantastic clinic with knowledgeable practitioners who genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend Reshma and Dr. He. Oh, parking is pay parking but they will partially reimburse you when you bring in the parking slip.

I am leaving this review because my experience at Plaza Physio has been disappointing. The first concern is the way they collect reviews. In their newsletter and in the clinic, they openly state: “If you haven’t yet, we would love to hear what you think of your treatments with us by writing a review on Google. Once you have left a 5 star review, you will receive a free coffee on us.” This creates pressure to give a perfect rating and makes the overall ratings unreliable. (See attached) There is also a constant turnover of practitioners. It is hard to build consistency when the person treating you seems to change. Most services take place in an open area with only curtains separating each bed. The space is not private or relaxing. You can hear conversations between practitioners and other clients, which makes the environment feel clinical and exposed rather than supportive. Parking used to be fully reimbursed. It no longer is. On top of that, there are unusual rules about not arriving too early and not being allowed to wait in reception because they do not have enough space. It adds an unnecessary layer of inconvenience to each appointment. Overall, the experience feels unorganized and not client focused. I would encourage anyone considering this clinic to be aware of these issues before booking. Also, beware of the fake five star reviews.
