I have no complaints about the equipment or the membership fees. The only reason I’m giving one star is because of the customer service. I was mistakenly charged twice for the yearly membership fee. When I spoke to a staff member on Sunday, she acknowledged the error and said she would email her manager and that I would be contacted. It has now been more than a week and I haven’t received any email or update. After a few days, I called the gym myself and was told that a refund was “in process.” The conversation made it feel as if the mistake was somehow my fault. There was no apology, and I’m still waiting for the refund. The amount is $51.45. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s still hard-earned money. Nothing in this world is free, and nobody gives away money. Customers shouldn’t have to chase a business to get their own money back when its not their fault.

As a person who just signed up to this location it was an awesome experience truly. Paul was exceptionally personable and knowledgeable. The lady who helped me (I apologize I do not recall your name) was also very friendly and took the time to make sure she was doing things properly. I feel like she made my experience 10/10 with her genuine personality on top of everything. Both staff I engaged with were kind and appeared to enjoy their job. I went at 9am and it seemed busy for me, however, I’m an odd duck who likes to do things alone often. It appeared as if staff were busy cleaning/ sanitizing various parts of the gym the whole time I was there (nearly 3 hours). It’s nice to see a gym that is not only stocked with paper towel, but, with staff movement and engagement. I am someone who prefers to clean items both before and after use as I believe it is the most respectful way to use a facility. I did notice some people not cleaning things after use, but, some people simply don’t have the same standards I prefer to uphold. Nothing to do with staff and everything to do with the individual. I also had a pleasant conversation with a woman I’ve never met. It’s nice to show up to a gym for the first time and have someone compliment your hard work and dedication to yourself — rather than have someone stare you down because they are insecure. We are all capable of accomplishing our goals if we work and put the time and effort needed into ourselves. I don’t ever underestimate someone based on appearance. You never know what someone is capable of regardless of size, colour or religion as looks are very often deceiving. I am looking forward to being a regular at this location as fitness is a huge part of my lifestyle. 🙌🏽

The place is filthy!! I’ve never seen it vacuumed or sanitized compared to Alberta they clean all day, smells cleaned! No offence intended but this is a filthy planet fitness sorry I shouldn’t be covered in dirt well working out

Planet Fitness here is clean and has a chill vibe. Staff are friendly and the equipment is usually available. It’s not super intense which I like, just easy to get in and get a workout done. Good value.
