By far the worst and most busy PF I've been to. Way too small, people literally lined up for the weight benches, many working out with free weights in the middle of the machine section. Lineup for the Smith machines. The cable area was a zoo, missing clips and tees for the rowing and other machines. At least 3 stations couldn't be used because of connecting hardware. Staff were nice but seems like management is just riding on the membership revenue and could care less about how over crowded it's become. 2 stars only because the staff were nice and it was generally clean.

Very disappointing experience at Planet Fitness Surrey. The staff seriously need training on how to talk to members. I was carrying my gym bag with me, and instead of politely explaining the policy, the staff member rudely said to keep my bag in my car or in the locker room. The tone was completely unnecessary. It’s not about the rule, it’s about basic respect. Members pay to be here and deserve to be spoken to properly. The overall attitude from staff makes it feel like customer service doesn’t matter at this location. Definitely not the welcoming environment they advertise.

My experience at Planet Fitness highlighted a clear lack of member support. Despite arriving with a broken arm, I received no orientation, no tour, and no explanation of basic policies or etiquette. Over a week later, I was still learning essential information—such as parking rules. The only real interaction with staff I had, was when approached to point out a minor issue, having my hoodie with me (which other members in direct vicinity were also guilty of, see photos) however only I got singled out. Overall, the environment felt unhelpful and unsupportive, which ultimately led me to cancel my membership.

Location: Planet Fitness – 10642 King George Blvd, Surrey Date & Time: Today at approximately 9:36 PM I am writing this review to report an unpleasant and inappropriate interaction I had with a staff member named Barinder during my visit today. After entering the club at 9:36 PM, I checked in at the front desk. Barinder was the staff member who completed my check-in. Immediately after, I proceeded toward the men’s locker room to change, as I had just arrived from outside in the rain. I was wearing jeans and carrying a bag containing my gym clothes, which I intended to change into inside the locker room. Right outside the locker room, Barinder stopped me and asked, “Do you have any pants with you?” The way this question was asked was intimidating, authoritative, and completely out of line, especially given that she had just checked me in moments earlier. I calmly explained that I had just entered, that she herself had checked me in, and that my gym clothes were in my bag, which is why I was heading to the locker room to change. Instead of acknowledging this reasonable explanation, her tone remained rude and impolite, and she continued to stop me unnecessarily. This interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unfairly questioned. Members should not be spoken to in a condescending or intimidating manner, especially when they are simply following normal gym procedures by changing in the locker room. There was no valid reason for me to be stopped or questioned in that way. Planet Fitness promotes a welcoming and non-judgmental environment, and this behavior directly contradicts those values. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures staff are trained to communicate with members respectfully and professionally. I expect accountability for this behavior so that no other member has to experience a similar situation.

Everything is ok. They just need to replace thier massage chairs as the current ones seem to be worn off. Rest during specific hours in the evening it gets bit crowded besides the additional space. There seems to be alot of waiting on Smith machines. So they need to work on these few areas. This feedback is specific to king gerorge one.
