The gym is amazing, always clean, great environment, equipment, members. Definitely feels like a no judgement gym space. Now when it comes to the workers, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I will not even be using my real name to address this issue because there are mostly younger workers who I know will talk! For the most part, majority of the workers are great, you scan your code and are told to have a great workout, but that really depends on the worker. But MOST workers there ESPECIALLY the younger peeps just give you a blank stare as you walk in, not even a little smile, no greeting, no have a good day when you leave. It’s great that they have conversations behind the counter but theres little to no attention given to the members that walk in. There is this one worker, dyed blond hair with glasses. She legit gave me straight face, no warm welcome or positive emotion the other day. IT DOES NOT MATTER if the members don’t do it to you, as workers, you people have a DUTY to ensure that your paying members feel a sense of welcoming. BTW A SMILE WORKS GREAT BUT I DONT SEE THAT HAPPENING!!! I am so upset and disappointed because it was not a ONE time experience, nor was it just me who noticed this. I observed everytime I came into the gym and talked amongst others who also attend this gym and it was a 50% chance of having a 10/10 walk in experience, which is not a good look. All the workers and more specifically the teenagers/ young adults need a reminder and stricter policy from whoever is in charge to UP the customer service aspect as gym workers. DO BETTER!!! I’ve visited most gyms in airdrie and planet fitness is the best environment wise, but the WORST customer service wise. I am really hoping that I am given a response that staff have been talked to about this issue, I am a very upset member and I really do enjoy going to this gym so please make those changes for the better, thank you.

Sorry, there is not an option for zero star.If this gym is overcrowded, why are you still selling memberships? This is a gym, not a zoo. What’s the point of a Black Card membership if members can’t even work out properly? The gym is small and doesn’t have enough equipment, yet everyone is forced to wait. Two guys were already using one machine, and instead of managing the situation professionally, a staff member spoke rudely and said, “you can’t hug the machine.” That comment was disrespectful and unnecessary. It’s not our fault that the gym lacks space and equipment.i left my workout incomplete and left the gym. ruined my whole leg day. I never treated like that in gym ever before in my career. I don’t even use my phone while working out, don’t waste my time. I have seen people sitting on machines without actually working out, or doing just one set and then sitting there for long periods, yet no action is taken. It honestly feels like the staff may not appreciate or respect professional, serious gym-goers. No more recommend this location.

I have been going to the sage hill planet fitness for the past two years. Really gone down hill. Weekends female locker room and lockers are filthy. I came to the Airdrie planet fitness and am extremely impressed. The gym is clean. The women’s washroom is clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The clientele is friendly. The tanning beds are clean. The sage hill tanning beds are always dirty. Why???? Cudos to Airdrie planet fitness. On their game. Thank you!!! I will be back.

Planet Fitness is a great place to work out, and the coach plays an important role in setting the atmosphere. She always welcomes everyone with a friendly greeting, simple acknowledgment, and basic courtesy, which go a long way in making members feel welcome and motivated. When a coach is approachable and engages with members, it truly enhances the overall gym experience and helps create a positive, respectful environment for everyone. I believe that small interactions, like saying hello or wishing members a good day, can make an already good gym even better.

Overall pretty good, but we had some challenges trying a day pass.. it was the busiest time of day and through no fault of PF it is frustrating seeing many people just scrolling on their phones while sitting on a machine. Also we found the 30m circuit area.. no staff around and minimal signage, so people kept coming in and taking a machine over and using it longer than the circuit intervals. Also they really could use an audible sound for end of a set.. its just a traffic light awkwardly placed on a bulkhead. For the rest of the gym machines are really nice and there are a lot.. the bench area is annoying as it is just super crowded.
