He is prompt and affordable, just generally really reasonable. He also does a great job translating the technical details to plain language for us. So glad we found him, 1000% recommend.

I brought my SUV to Joe and his team at Perform-X after hearing some unsettling grinding noises while on a road trip. They were able to squeeze me in during a busy morning, quickly diagnose and repair the problem, and get me back on the road safely. Excellent customer service!

I recently brought my 2018 Volkswagen VW Atlas to Perform-X Automotive in New Westminster for a regular oil change, and I’m really impressed with the service. Joe, the owner, is a true Volkswagen and Audi specialist who clearly knows German cars inside and out. The oil change was $284 (including taxes) — a little higher than places like Canadian Tire or Kal Tire — but the difference is night and day. With Joe, you know your car is in the hands of someone who understands these vehicles and does the job right the first time. What I really appreciate is that this is a family-owned local business in Metro Vancouver that takes pride in their work and cares about their customers. Joe is professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does, which gives me total confidence in leaving my car here. If you’re in New Westminster or the Metro Vancouver area and drive a VW or Audi, I highly recommend Perform-X Automotive. Joe and the team are the best. I have been with them since 2018 when I lived in New West. I settled here after visiting different mechanics here and there. I still go even if I moved to North Van and I have to take some tine off from work to visit. It is difficult to find a team with this level of honesty and integrity as well as professionalism. They even cleaned my tires during regular maintenance and put back a wheel cap that fell off from a minor accident that I was carrying in the car without charges. There are other shops with good reviews who try to attract customers aggressively but they don’t compare in terms of integrity. No wonder their business grew so much last 5 years (from what I see they are getting busier every time I visit) even without those business tricks.
