My boyfriend and I had an absolutely AWFUL experience at this vet and will not be returning. Earlier in the day, we called because our dog had possibly eaten a raisin. We were told it wasn’t something to be overly worried about for her size, but that it would cost around $1,000 for them to induce vomiting. Since they didn’t seem concerned, we decided to monitor her. Later that evening she began gagging and acting off, so we called back because they’re open later than any other vets in town. The girl on the phone was completely unhelpful and all over the place. We called at 5:40pm and were put on hold just long enough that we couldn’t make it in before 6pm, at which point we were told prices had increased. We were told the exam fee would be $115 and bloodwork would be around $260 to check for toxicity. Once we arrived, our experience continued to get worse. The vet had no idea how to approach our already anxious dog. He immediately got over her and put his hands all over her, which scared her even more. After briefly feeling her belly and listening to her heart, he pulled out a book and started reading about what he should be doing. I would assume that after vet school, you wouldn’t need to rely on flipping through a book to know what you're supposed to do. He then left the room and came back with an estimate that included keeping our dog overnight, inducing vomiting, bloodwork, and several other charges totaling over $1,000. He also told us that doing blood tests this early would provide zero useful information — which went completely against what we were told on the phone and the only reason we came in to the vet in the first place. When I tried to explain that there had clearly been miscommunication between the front desk and the vet, he repeatedly cut me off and would not let me speak pretty much saying what I said I was told was never said. We ended up leaving extremely upset, with zero piece of mind and paid $130 for him to touch her stomach, listen to her heart, and read from a book. We are very unimpressed to say the least. It felt disorganized, super misleading, and extremely unprofessional. I hope this review helps others avoid wasting money and to consider taking their loved pets somewhere that provides better communication and much better care.

The Dr. here saved my dog’s life. She was seen by another vet who initially treated her for allergies. As soon as I brought her to Peach City, with one look he told me it looked like an auto immune disorder and that blood work was needed. The bloodwork confirmed everything he said and she was treated immediately. He is so kind and so knowledgeable. I am from Ontario and travel to BC often. It’s so nice knowing that I can rely on him when I am there and my dog will be in good hands. Outside of that, the staff is incredible as well. They are so kind and so patient. The clinic is so clean and great care is taken to ensure that owners leave feeling confident in the treatment plan going forward. What gets me every time is that they call every so often to check on your animal and they actually care. I am so grateful for this clinic. Thank you so much for all that you do.

My boy swallowed a whole toy at 6pm on a Friday, they got me in that evening. They answered all my questions and I felt my boy Artie was realy safe with them. I am newer to town, and I will be choosing them for any future work that needs to be done. The whole process was easy, pricing wasn't outrageous, very clean place and everyone in there was very friendly and caring.

The team at Peach City Animal Hospital helped me when my cat Lilith was ill. I was able to get in right away. They took excellent care of my anxious cat and discussed all diagnostics in detail with me. Dr. Brar went above and beyond, consulting specialist when the reason for her illness was unknown and recommended thorough testing. I am relieved to say that Lilith is doing well, all thanks to the care she received from the team at Peach City Animal Hospital.
