Had a wonderful experience having my hair done by Andrea. She was thorough and took the time to listen to what my hair goals were and what I could realistically achieve. She was very fun yet professional. Will definitely be returning!

I want to acknowledge that every stylist can make mistakes, but when you're charging as an expert, it’s essential to act with integrity, especially after multiple attempts to correct a mistake. Unfortunately, my experience at Paint Hair Lounge was extremely disappointing. After paying $466 for babylights, toner, tip, and a cut, my first attempt at a service was a failure. The highlights were uneven, there were dark patches, and the foils weren’t applied to my roots. I left the salon dissatisfied and immediately messaged the salon within hours to express my concerns, sending photos as evidence. I offered to send more photos and clearly communicated my dissatisfaction. On my second visit, Tanisha, the stylist, agreed that the foils were not applied to my roots and that a dark patch from the first attempt was still noticeable. Unfortunately, after the redo, the highlights were still far from acceptable. The foils bled badly, leaving a stripes all across my head, and the overall result was still subpar for any stylist, let alone one charging premium prices like Paint Hair Lounge. What was even more frustrating was the salon's poor response to my concerns. Their communication was dismissive, and they never apologized for the mistakes made. When I requested a partial refund for the unsatisfactory services, they refused and ended our professional relationship. Despite emailing them twice right after each appointment, explaining that I was upset, they falsely claimed I left happy both times. I was OK with the cut, so only asked for a refund of $388, so I could go somewhere new to correct their mistakes. In addition to the poor results, the salon was unsanitary. Hair was left scattered around the stylist’s stations, and the washroom was dirty. The hand towels remained in the same container during my second visit, which is unacceptable and indictive of how infrequently, if ever, they clean. In hindsight, it’s clear the salon lacked professionalism, failed to fix their mistakes, and didn’t provide the quality of service expected for the money paid. I hope this review, along with the attached photos, helps others avoid making the same mistake. I now need to pay for a colour correction because of their terrible work. Unless you're looking for "tiger stripes," Tanisha may not be the right stylist for you. 1st Pic shows the amount paid. 2nd Pic is a foil that is bleeding and my grey roots after getting home same day from the salon. 3rd Pic is the tiger stripe special I now need to get colour corrected after their expert stylist did a complete redo.

Loved the cut, color and style originally and the stylist was very friendly but the price of $345. (with out tip) is not what I would call reasonable. Check price in full before service and note they charge extra for credit card use. EDIT - once I washed my hair it seemed like it was very over processed, extremely dry with breakage. I also noticed change in the tone (color) and chunks of color. I went for the Full foils with cut and style

I met Andrea at another salon for a colour correction (in which she fixed my abysmal dye job), and followed her to Paint Hair Lounge. Andrea and the ladies at Paint are so sweet and do beautiful work! I always have a great experience at Paint and I always get tons of compliments on my hair 💚 they are super passionate and it shows! Highly recommend.
