We booked P&H Photography for our wedding after seeing overwhelmingly positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience did not align with what was advertised.
Before the wedding:
When we first inquired in October 2024 for our September 2025 wedding, we were sent a link outlining packages and rates. A few days later, we noticed the rate had increased $200 overnight. When we brought this up, AJ explained that their website was originally wrong and needed to be updated but since we noticed the change, they offered to honor the original rate if we booked. However, when we did book and received the invoice, it reflected the higher rate, which we had to bring up again. While this was ultimately explained as another error, it felt awkward and uncomfortable to have to address pricing discrepancies multiple times.
Additionally, when we booked (10 months before the wedding), AJ mentioned that because they have children, there was a possibility that either she or Kris might need to step away and a stand-in photographer could be used. We understood and agreed, as life happens. However, in early August (over a month before our wedding) we were informed that AJ would not be attending our wedding at all and that a stand-in photographer would be taking her place. This was extremely surprising, as the husband-and-wife dynamic was a major reason we chose P&H as that is how they advertise themselves (we had also discussed this with them prior to booking and they had reassured us of their mutual availability on the date). AJ had also specifically explained that she photographs the bride’s getting-ready moments while Kris photographs the groom.
The proposed stand-in was a male photographer who appeared to photograph casually rather than professionally, which made us uncomfortable given the vulnerable getting-ready moments we had planned and paid for prior. After expressing this discomfort, AJ later informed us that she had arranged childcare for the day and would attend the wedding. While we appreciated the change, the situation caused significant stress and anxiety so close to our wedding day and left us feeling uneasy about the lack of transparency. Especially given that we had already paid for their services before the date (with it being around $7k) and it seemed as though AJ did not intend on being present.
On the wedding day:
We were disappointed with a large portion of the final gallery. While there are photos we love, out of 613 images we felt only about 15% were up to their advertised standard. Many photos—of both us and our guests—were unflattering (mid-speech, mouths open, awkward expressions). Several guests also expressed disappointment with the photos they appeared in. The family portraits felt awkwardly arranged with large gaps, odd lineups and they are not images we feel comfortable framing.
We also requested photos inside the church after the ceremony and, despite having ample time, received only two images from that portion of the day.
Additionally, AJ’s demeanor on the day felt disengaged. She appeared irritated during posed photos, did not smile, wore her coat throughout the ceremony, and overall gave the impression that she did not want to be there.
After the wedding:
P&H states a delivery timeline of 12–15 weeks. We received our photos at the end of 17 weeks, with a brief email in week 15 explaining delays due to a busy season. While we initially understood and were simply excited to receive our photos, the delayed delivery combined with the issues before and during the wedding made the overall experience feel unprofessional and disappointing.
We truly wanted to love our experience and recommend P&H as others have, but unfortunately ours fell far short of expectations. We hope this was a one-off experience, but for us, it did not reflect the level of professionalism or quality suggested by their online presence.

Kris & A.J. were seriously the best! They’re so fun to be around, which made taking photos feel easy and natural. We worked with them for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and we had an amazing experience each time.
Taking our wedding photos ended up being one of our favourite parts of the entire day, and we’re absolutely obsessed with how they turned out! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and did such a great job keeping us (and our friends and family!) on track throughout the day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better photography team!

Working with AJ and Kris for our wedding day was seamless! We hadn't met them prior to do an engagement shoot, but they were friendly and came prepared, scoping out the venue a couple days prior. We got our preview photos and they came out exactly in the style we imagined! Very polished, with a dreamy feel! The Park had swapped out flowers for the change in season, however they were still able to find some unique spots, finding beauty in what we had. Can't wait to see the rest of the photos!

My husband and I had such a great experience with Page & Holmes Photography. AJ and Kris were so professional, friendly and easy to work with. The whole booking process leading up to our wedding was seamless and easy. Their photography style is candid, cinematic and absolutely beautiful I would recommend them to any of my friends getting married! Truly worth every penny, and we couldn't be more in love with our wedding photos that we will cherish forever!

So incredibly happy with our decision to hire Kris and AJ to document our special day!!! We could not have dreamed of a better experience and are beyond in love with the sneak peeks we've already received from our wedding! I seriously look at them everyday and feel so much joy. The day really goes by quick and I'm so glad to have these once in a lifetime moments forever in tangible form. Their work truly speaks for itself - their photos are insanely beautiful in the way they capture true candid moments, the beauty of the environment and the essence of the people in them. Kris and AJ have a way of conveying emotion through their images that even when I look at their photos of other people, I feel like I'm there. As a wedding photographer myself, I am so inspired by their talent and truly feel like each image is a work of art. Their eye for composition and unique angles is what is so captivating about their photos. On top of all that, they're just amazing people. They're so kind, hilarious, professional, friendly and so passionate about what they do; they really added so much more to our wedding day than just being our photographers. We are so grateful for you, Kris and AJ, thank you for everything!
