Pacific Dental single-handedly cured my dentist PTSD. I have not-too-long ago had a very unpleasant and traumatizing experience while getting my bottom wisdom teeth out, and since, I stopped visiting the dentist alltogether. When I moved to Vancouver and my upper wisdom teeth started screaming at me to come out, I began a long research process into the dentists here. There are not many offices that accept the student dental plan I was on, and even less that offer an additional student discount. When I came for my first appointment and was shaking in the dentist chair, Dr. Mahshid Torkaman went above and beyond to accommodate me. I explained I like to be explained things in medical jargon as that calms me down, and never ever in my year I have been getting my teeth fixed there had I had to repeat that, even if there was a visiting surgeon or if I went to a dental hygiene appointment. Every visit was extremely pleasant and the care and attention given to me was like I have never experienced before. And now onto the craziest part: my wisdom teeth were out in 10 minutes, both at the same time out with one push, without crazy breaking that I had experiences prior. Anytime I went to get my fillings, I was out in 30 minutes. And it was done painlessly and professionally. I am so happy I found them, and I have since recommended them to all my student colleagues who needed to get something done. All-around the best dental service I have ever gotten.

Dr. Mahshid Torkaman is amazing! She’s gentle, professional, and makes every visit stress-free. The whole team is kind and welcoming, and the clinic has a calm, clean atmosphere. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely recommend her to friends and family.
