The person replying to emails should be more professional and polite. The responses did not reflect a respectful tone. I expect better professionalism and courtesy in communication from the team at Oxygen Fitness - Port Coquitlam in the future.

I sincerely hope that one of the owner's projects for 2026 is to renovate the room floor because the current conditions are very poor. After completing my trial-week and having my email inbox flooded with annual membership offers, I sincerely hope that he/she uses the same enthusiasm to improve the service that we’re paying for. After did try three locations, I choose Oxygen Port Moody, where two things are successfully done: excellent conditions for practicing, and a commitment to keep the temperature inside because the service needs to be. Don’t forget "Hot room” isn't just about sweating and looking sexy, as some suggest; there's a much more significant effect on your internal body than that. Cheers.

I did the one-week trial, and I’m hooked! I signed up for a membership. Every class I’ve taken so far has been amazing. The studio is clean, and all the staff are really nice. They’re quick to respond to my emails. :) Thank you! **UPDATE *** I love every class — the instructors are amazing! However, I’ve had issues with check-ins. I was once charged for a no-show even after checking in, and recently my husband was too. I was reimbursed, but we’re still waiting for his refund. The email responses could be more professional. Just a heads-up: check your credit card for mistaken late-cancel or no-show fees. Otherwise, this place is great!

I have been to a few OYF locations and this one has been the best experience by far. Lalaine is a high energy, positive, knowledgable and personable instructor. She will meet you wherever you are at physically and give you that extra encouraging push. All around a lovely team and facility. It's well worth the investment.

After several years in the suburbs, my home practice was not cutting it anymore so I decided to try Oxygen yoga Port Coquitlam a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I had practiced yoga downtown for years and heard from many that Oxygen is more "yoga inspired" and not really yoga... That you tend to be rushed through poses, weights are thrown in haphazardly and there aren't accommodations for injury or fitness level. The studio in Poco is conveniently located, clean, and the heat is amazing. Many of the teachers are at the level you'd expect from a downtown yoga or exercise class. The cancellation policy - set by corporate - feels predatory. You have to cancel no later than four hours before class or face a penalty fee ($10 if you're early and do so through the app. $20 if you're later, or if you don't know there is an app which was the case for me for a while). Also, if the girls at the front mistakenly don't sign you in, you also run the risk of incurring the more expensive fee. Fortunately, the team at this location are apologetic and accommodating if life happens or if there's a mistake on their end. All of this said, corporate could benefit from making some changes to policies, cancellation window and training. It turns out the best teachers there have studied outside of Oxygen... The ones that are Oxygen trained definitely fit into the faster, harder, but not necessarily safer approach to teaching. I'm very grateful for this location, its teachers and how it's run.
