This is definitely the best oxygen yoga - the owner is so understanding and helpful he literally talks to all the clients so respectfully not so money hungry like the other oxygen yogas. I just want to say the instructor Monika is the best instructor and best human of all time. I love her class, her energy and everything about her. She connects with each one of her students. I feel like she makes you stronger, she doesn’t let you give up and she pushes you and never gives up on you. I love you Monika!!!!!

I’ve been attending Oxygen Yoga for quite some time and usually love it — the instructors are typically encouraging, professional, and understanding. However, my recent experience with Monika was so negative that I’m honestly reconsidering coming back to her classes. Partway through class, I started feeling unwell due to an injury and quietly stepped out to the locker room. I didn’t disrupt anyone, but Monika still decided to draw attention to me in front of the entire class, indirectly calling me out and embarrassing me. Earlier, she had already singled me out for “not doing the workout properly,” even though I had clearly explained my injury. She then gave a lecture to the class that felt aimed directly at me. These classes are supposed to be done at your own pace and adjusted to your personal needs, but instead of receiving understanding, I was met with public criticism and judgment. No one should feel humiliated for listening to their body or protecting themselves from injury. This is not the supportive environment I’ve come to expect from Oxygen Yoga, and I hope management addresses this.

The classes here are great for the novice to the super fit. All of the instructors give you options based on your fitness level. My favourite instructors are Monika (tough love and I love it - she'll correct your form and I'm grateful), Jacqueline (tough classes with great energy), Jordan (tough classes with some humor thrown in) and Natasha (great energy and fast moving classes). Each instructor has very different personalities but I can tell you that each one of them cares. Your results will depend on what you put in.

I've been going to Oxygen for about 2 months now and have been loving it. I've been attending the classes that are more Yoga style, but have also attended a few fitness classes. It's really the best of both worlds because these classes help me physically and mentally. My favourites so far have been the Yang/Yin (Jennifer specifically), 02, Deep Stretch and Power Core classes. I like to try new classes every week and am always excited when they offer new yoga style classes! Edit: Just wanted to say that the only classes I don't really enjoy are Monikas. I get the whole tough instructor thing but I feel like there is a way to talk to people. I have been in multiple classes where she will downright speak down to people and it makes me very uncomfortable. I also don't get that zen vibe that I am looking for in her classes as its constantly just listening to how you shouldn't be doing this or that at the start of classes and rushing to get our stuff out at the end so that she doesn't start mopping while we are still in the studio. No other instructor does this, so moving forward I will just be avoiding her classes altogether.

I love going to Monika, Kristina and Natashas classes. Monika is a tough instructor, but I so appreciate it. I have been going to oxygen yoga for 12 years to various sites and I can say she is so great. I am also a Physiotherapist myself, so I have a strong base in exercise knowledge-she focuses on form and provides modifications. She is caring, motivating and gets the energy up in the room-she can get the best out of you. If you want to get strong and fit, she is for you. Postpartum I could hardly do a plank from my knees and she got me to where I am now. She sees strength in you when you cant see it yourself, and builds you up to get to that point. Thank you Monika!
