We have been clients of this veterinary clinic for approximately 15 years, first with our Labrador and more recently with our cat. Our chocolate Lab is a very gentle, trusting dog, so it was concerning to see how anxious she became during visits to this clinic. She would tremble visibly and would not allow the veterinarian to examine her abdomen, which was unusual behavior for her and suggested a lack of comfort or trust. At a recent visit to assess a lump, a fine needle aspirate (FNA) was recommended and performed. A week later, I missed a call from the clinic and returned it immediately, only to be told by reception that no one had called and there were no notes on our file. After calling again and requesting to speak directly with the veterinarian, she answered and stated she was glad we could connect, then informed me abruptly that our dog was suspected to have cancer and that further biopsies would be required. We had already paid approximately $400 for the initial FNA. We were then advised that additional blood work and X-rays would be necessary prior to surgery, with estimated costs exceeding $3,500. While I fully understand and respect the need for diagnostics and would spend whatever is necessary for my dog’s wellbeing - she is 15 years old. My primary concern was not the recommendation itself, but the delivery. The communication felt cold and lacked empathy, particularly given the seriousness of the news and our dog’s age. Following this experience, we decided to switch veterinarians and were met with a markedly different approach. The new vet took the time to discuss multiple options focused on comfort and quality of life, including medical management, steroids, and alternative approaches, rather than immediately pushing surgical intervention. Our dog is noticeably more relaxed and comfortable with her new veterinarian. Additionally, our experiences with reception staff at Ospika were often disorganized. Calls were frequently placed on hold unnecessarily, important messages were missed or denied, and there were long waits (often 30 minutes or more) just to complete payment after appointments. Appointments routinely ran late, and visits felt rushed, with limited examination of our pet. Ultimately, switching clinics was the best decision for us. Our dog is calmer, happier, and clearly more at ease with her new vet. Unfortunately, based on our recent experiences, I cannot recommend this clinic.

Actually brought to tears today (11/22/2025) after my cat Bibble’s vet appointment. The three ladies on staff, including the vet, were the most kind, caring, and lovely humans who showed so much love for my lil guy. First time here, and am so glad I chose them for our new vet!

Great vet looked after our Khole (Big Black dog) very well. Alittle on the high price side. They do good work so I ghess you get what you pay for.

Ospika is great. Very kind, compassionate and know their stuff. They've been amazing helping with my guy North. He loves seeing his doctor and poking his head over the counter to the front end staff too.

Ospika Animal hospital has always been there for our boys (two german shephards and a lab mix). They are made to feel as comfortable as possible and are greeted well with many treats. The staff and vets are professional, personal and reliable each time and are quick with any appointments/procedures. We greatly appreciate the service they provide and are glad to have such a wonderful place to take our pups to. Thank you! 😊
