Amazing customer service! They took care of everything seamlessly. From the initial call to get me in and get an estimate, to booking and getting my car in for a repair, to fully arranging a rental for me. Everything was so easy! The ladies at the front are friendly and helpful and I got updates throughout the repair. I gave my car to them in a total MESS and definitely did not expect anything but my repairs from the accident fixed but I received my car sparkling clean! John did SUCH an amazing job washing and detailing my car.. you can tell he works with such care and pride. Such a lovely, personal touch. Thank you so much John!

I had a great experience with Richmond auto body . The team was professional knowledgeable especially reception Sam she’s amazing person and kind ,, and transparent throughout the entire process. They clearly explained the repairs, provided an accurate timeline, and delivered the work on time. The quality of the workmanship was excellent my vehicle looked as good as new when I got it back. Customer service was friendly and responsive, and pricing felt fair for the level of service provided. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality auto body repair. Thanks again 🙏

Your team did a stellar job of fixing up my Jag after a wee pre Christmas bump incident in a parking lot. The vehicle looks brand new, you kept us informed the whole time you had the car and even accommodated working on the vehicle while we were on vacation so we didn’t miss not having wheels. Thank you for everything! Your team is incredibly professional and timely. Super grateful.

When I initially reached out to OpenRoad to inquire about my vehicle repair options, I was drawn in by the friendly and personable demeanour from both the receptionist and the estimator I spoke with. I had high hopes and was quickly let down.. My passenger door had been damaged/hit and I was not sure if it was repairable or required a full replacement. After brining my vehicle in, the estimator advised it would be best to have the door replaced (and even provided reasons as to why this would be the better avenue). I shopped around for a while and opted to have my vehicle brought to OpenRoad for the replacement as other shops advised the repair versus the replacement. I advocated for OpenRoad! The estimator then booked my vehicle in and I was to drop it off in two weeks time. When I arrived, there was no booking scheduled and no record of my inquiries.. The only reason the receptionist knew who I was, was because I called/emailed several times inquiring about how long my vehicle would be in the shop for. I was also interested in a quote for a rental just in case one was required. For some reason she nor the estimator could answer my questions. No one knew the possible timeline of a door replacement!? This should have been a red flag.. All things sorted, they accepted my vehicle. I received a call the following day asking if they could send my vehicle to their Coquitlam location due to limited staff, machine malfunctions and the possibility of a backlog/delay. I was assured the same work would be done and I would not have to worry about transport between locations. Perfect! I appreciated the want to get my vehicle returned to me as soon as possible. Again though, when asked how long the replacement would take, I did not receive an answer. I was advised that once the Coquitlam location sees it, I would receive a phone call and if anything changes within the estimate, I would be made aware. Hindsight, that was a lie. Fast forward three weeks, several unsuccessful phone calls (collectively nearly an hour on hold), and a few unanswered emails, I finally received a call stating my vehicle would be returning from Coquitlam that day and they will be doing a “once over”. Following their check, I could then pick up my vehicle. Yay! Finally! Three days later and another ignored email, I was informed my vehicle was ready.. Upon collection I was made aware that my door was not replaced and was repaired instead.. This decision was made by the shop because “the available doors were used and not good enough, a new door was unavailable or I’d have to wait, and it saved money this way”. The same estimator who suggested a replacement, is now trying to justify the repairs he spoke ill of months prior all while blaming the other location! At what point does one phone the customer to update or inquire!? Why was this a surprise to me three weeks later!? In frustration, I requested my keys and left. Further to my surprise, my vehicle was scratched in various places and the complimentary detail was questionable. It took the shop three days to look it over and it was still returned with additional damages and interior spills. The only reason for the singular star is because looking at the door they repaired, one would not know it was previously damaged. It would have been nice to have been able to leave a better review however the service was unacceptable. Unfortunately it’s clear now that my initial positive interaction was approached as such to ensure I utilized their services. The lack of communication, dismissive behaviour and negligence will be the reason I do not return. I will not be recommending OpenRoad Richmond Autobody - Langley in the future and can assure you my friends and family are aware of my experience. Please, check your estimate thoroughly. If you don’t understand, ask a mechanically inclined friend to break it down for you. Force your own follow up and be sure to look over your vehicle upon pick up! Don’t make the same mistakes I did.
