My experience with OpenRoad Auto Body Richmond was absolutely unacceptable. My vehicle was kept in their shop for almost three months, and after only a very short period of use, it developed serious issues requiring major repairs estimated at nearly $10,000 at an authorized Dodge service center. The car is not safe to drive. What is most alarming is that the repair documentation clearly shows used parts of unknown origin and unknown condition were installed, while the estimate submitted to ICBC (formal complaint was sent to them)was significant. In my view, this is nothing short of a scam and outright fraud. When it became clear that the situation should be reviewed by a lawyer, the shop suddenly wanted to “work something out,” but after such amateurish repairs, I have no trust whatsoever in their ability to properly service a vehicle. For a company that is part of OpenRoad Auto Group, the lack of transparency, poor workmanship, and complete disregard for safety and honesty is shocking. I strongly advise anyone considering this shop to look elsewhere, as my experience was extremely negative and, in my opinion, dangerous.

Absolutely amazed by the service I received for my Tesla. The receptionist was quick, kind, and so helpful from my very first call. The entire staff, with a special shout out to Sy, was communicative and kept me updated. Most importantly, the quality of the repair job is flawless and efficient. Fantastic customer service combined with expert work!

I am writing to express my absolute satisfaction with the OpenRoad Autobody facility in Richmond. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the general manager, Ramon, for his exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills in ensuring my 911 Carrera GTS was repaired fully and to specification. I was involved in a rear-end collision over a year and a half ago. My car was initially repaired at a different OpenRoad Autobody branch (won't mention the name), where it remained for over 13 months due to part availability issues, which I understood. However, upon retrieving the car, I discovered numerous visible defects, including paint swirls, scratches, a cracked light bar, and a misaligned rear spoiler. The panel gap at the rear was so significant that the initial branch refused to acknowledge their mistakes, claiming it was "within spec." After waiting over 13 months, experiencing such issues was incredibly disappointing. I made approximately 10 trips to the initial OpenRoad autobody shop to address these problems. I felt underwhelmed by their main technician and sensed the team might be overwhelmed or simply incompetent. All I truly sought was some sympathy or an apology from their General Manager, which was never offered. Dealing with the initial autobody shop was challenging, and I was in shock for months. After some contemplation, I decided to contact the Richmond OpenRoad Autobody Richmond location to see if they could properly assist with my car's repairs. Ramon, the general manager of the Richmond facility, was incredibly helpful. I explained my frustrations with the other branch, and within a few weeks, my car was in their shop for further inspection and bodywork. Ramon was exceptionally patient and understanding of my concerns. He went above and beyond to find solutions for aligning the rear of the 911 to spec. We even visited a nearby dealership to ensure the body panel alignment matched similar production models. There was also a missing part that was not correctly sent from aftermarket spare parts in Germany, an issue Porsche Canada and Porsche Germany need to address on their end. However, through personal investigation, we were able to find a full replacement for the original parts that were unavailable from the manufacturer. Furthermore, Ramon and his team of highly trained technicians made all the necessary adjustments to return the car to its original specifications. All body panels in the impact area are now fully aligned, the light bars have been replaced, and the car is scratch-free. It took time to resolve everything, but I am deeply grateful to Ramon and his team at the Richmond facility for their incredible effort, attention to detail, friendliness, and problem-solving. I was also provided with a brand new courtesy car for the duration of the final repairs (about 7-10 days), and it was a pleasant surprise to be the first to drive their new loaner. I will never forget the service and special care I received at this flagship OpenRoad Richmond Autobody Richmond shop. In total, the wait time, back and forth between both shops, and finally getting my car fixed after waiting for parts took nearly 16-17 months. I recognize that these are high-end cars that require specialized attention, and not every technician is experienced or trained in every make and model. I also appreciate the original body shop for accepting the tow-in, as most places would not have at the time of the collision. My car's original claim work through the first body shop amounted to almost $100,000, only to have the corrections completed by the Richmond location. I am pleased and satisfied that both shops ultimately collaborated to find a solution. I am especially thankful to General Manager Ramon Goquingco, his top technician and technical team, and the entire staff at OpenRoad Richmond Autobody Richmond location. I will always choose and recommend this flagship facility and location for any future work. The passion, attention to detail, and dedication demonstrated by the team and management are truly commendable.

I recently purchased a 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross from OpenRoad Toyota Richmond, and I can confidently say this was the best car-buying experience I’ve had in my seven years living in Canada. The level of customer service here is simply outstanding—truly number one. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and the positive atmosphere. Had my rim repaired and got my wheel alignment done. Very happy with the service and result. My car now drives better than before I dropped it off. Apparently my wheel alignment was off and it was difficult to control because of that. The process to book was smooth & easy. Just need to book a consultation appointment, have it checked out, then book an appointment to drop off the car & have it fixed. I was able to get my car back the same week I had it dropped off. But that’s gonna vary depending on the work(s) required, so don’t quote me on that! They asked if I required a loaner’s car(covered by ICBC) while my car is getting fixed. The guy from enterprise picked me up from the shop and I was able to get my car from there. Came back to my car all detailed, it’s as fresh as new 😍 I’ve attached photos of how clean they look. Overall, would highly recommend Open Road Richmond Auto Body. Very friendly & helpful receptionists and mechanic.
