This salon is hands down the best! The staff are so warm, friendly, and professional — they instantly make you feel at ease. I always see Nicole and she has such a gift for professionalism while still making you feel like a friend you can just chat with! Her technique is amazing, and you can tell she really knows what they’re doing. Everything is clean, efficient, and done with so much care. I always leave feeling great. This is 100% my go-to waxing place, and I highly recommend it!

Alexa is amazing! I'm always so pleased with my hair whenever seeing Alexa. She's helped me find the perfect color for my complexion. I highly recommend her for any curly girl. Alexa always puts care into treating and styling curly hair, she's very knowledgeable and she has such a lovely personality.

I go in for a simple root touch-up and leave with visible demarcation lines, roots much darker than the rest of my hair, and an incorrect red undertone. The results are uneven and unacceptable. When I ask for a refund because I don’t trust them to fix it, the owner refuses to take responsibility. I’m told the issue can only be corrected by booking another service, but I’m not willing to take that risk. Very disappointing experience — I would not recommend this salon. Based on the Opal & Ivy team’s responses to other negative reviews, I’m expecting a defensive reply, as the salon does not take responsibility for poor service and tends to twist the story.

Grew my hair out for ~2 years and had Amanda cut my hair for the donation. She did a really really good job matching the picture I showed her for reference and also provided me with some killer hair product as well. Really liked the vibe of this place and there's also really good pastries next door :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Opal & Ivy Hair Salon was an absolute delight from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, the energy in the salon was warm, welcoming, and full of laughter. Amanda, the owner, is genuinely kind and hilarious — you can really feel that she’s created such a beautiful, positive space. The gentleman at the front desk was beyond thoughtful. He noticed it was dark when I was leaving and actually walked me to my car to make sure I got there safely — that level of care truly touched my heart. But the real star of the show is Jazmyn. She absolutely delivered. I was honestly blown away by what we were able to achieve with my hair dreams. She listened so carefully to everything I wanted, kept me informed every step of the way, and made me feel completely confident and understood throughout the entire process. I am officially obsessed with my hair and so grateful to have finally found a stylist I can truly trust. I can’t wait to see how my hair journey continues with her! Highly recommend Opal & Ivy — super cute space, amazing team, and they truly go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. 💖
