I went in for a manicure and pedicure, for a set of gel nails. I had two different design types requested (i am picky but i always tip well), and wanted rounded rather than square. I said this multiple times. I showed images of what i wanted. Instead of rounded, I received flared out square nails. The design options i showed the nail tech (who said they’d had many years of experience) was unable to do it, saying it didn’t work for gel polish. I’m posting photos of the basic square flare nails i got, and the photos of a more rounded design. Even as i type this i feel like every finger has duck feet on my hands. I cancelled my pedicure due to the consistent miscommunication. The tech still asked if i had instagram and proceeded to show me her account. I kind of dismissed it because I’m non confrontational, especially when I’ve said something multiple times and know I’m not being heard. They did not read the room, and i left disappointed. I still tipped well, because that’s who i am. 🤷🏼‍♀️ She was also on her phone a lot. She was later than i was to the appointment, so i was waiting in the cold for a bit. Additionally it was cold in the facility, and the hotel staff brought out a heat fan an hour into the appointment. Two stars because, the Russian manicure was appreciated. Thanks for reading! ✨

I had a very bad experience there. The staff is not at all friendly and they are not at all accountable or responsible for the service they give. I was not satisfied if my nails as some new employee did it which they informed me. But then my nails started breaking on the 1st week itself. When I called the supervisor who is always there talked very rudely with me. And even when I went to store they literally didn’t take any responsibility of it. They are scammers. Would never recommend anyone.

I had an appointment yesterday afternoon. The photos show wounds on the hands and feet. Today, I found that the silver nail polish on my index finger was severely worn off. The color on my little toe was also gone.I understand that it is normal for the color to fade or wear off, but I just did it yesterday. Isn't it a bit too quick?

I have been a returning client of Kamal’s for several months and she always does an incredible job. My nails hold up so well and the creativity and quality is fantastic. She’s also a wonderful person to spend time with! Highly recommend.

Do not go here to get your nails done, especially if you are in a rush. The salon I usually go to was booked this week and I was leaving town, so I needed to get into a salon close to my work. I tried this place for a fill and a simple white French tip and my appointment was TWO hours long. The girl who did my nails was nice, but it seemed like her first time doing a set of nails, and I wish I would have been informed beforehand that she was new. She was obviously very uncomfortable holding a nail file, and she had a lot of trouble painting a simple line for the French tip, constantly having to wipe off the paint and start again. The lines are very messy. When she first filed the nails, they were all slanted and I had to ask her to fix them. Some of them are still slanted. If you had an appointment for a full set and actual nail art at this place, I would guarantee you’d be there for 5 hours or more. I needed one nail replaced, and the press on nail she used was so big it looks like a thumb. My two pointer fingers look completely different. I have been getting my nails done for 16 years, and I can honestly say this is the worst set I’ve ever had. To top it all off, when I went to pay she said I was getting a discount and charged me SEVENTY dollars for these nails. I was flabbergasted. Seventy dollars for a horrible fill, done by someone who clearly wasn’t a professional and needs a lot more practice before you can start charging that amount. When I get a fill at my usual salon, it’s 40 minutes, a beautiful perfect set, nail art and colour and it costs me just over $50. I don’t know where Blue Moon get off charging 70 for a fill by someone who needs much more practice. I’ve now had these nails on for one day and already all of my nails are chipping and my pointer finger is lifting. I haven’t even done anything besides cook food, this shouldn’t be happening one day after the appointment. I’m so mad that I paid this amount for nails I will need to go somewhere and get redone immediately. This place needs to put out a warning prior to appointments to inform their clients that the nail tech is clearly still learning and they should only be charging a very low amount. Absolutely horrible. I did not have the heart to say something to the tech at the salon, but this is just not okay. Edit: I had to go somewhere else to get my nails redone after 6 days as every single nail chipped and 3 fell off.
