Excellent and efficient care, without unnecessary treatments or tests, and without looking at client like an ATM as it is generally the case with the profession in Canada, and especially Vancouver Island. Successfully treated one of our military/service dogs, when 11 other veterinarians hadn't even bothered.

The NWVDS-Victoria team is absolutely fantastic. My standard poodle had a persistent horrible ear infection that was not effectively treated after visiting a number of other vets. The team was able to not only do what felt like the impossible of treating my dog's ear infection but did so with the utmost care and compassion. I cannot recommend Dr. Defalque enough. He took his time to ensure we completely understood the process and the steps that we were taking to treat Nala's ear. Randy at the front desk is a ray of sunshine and always brightens our day. The entire team has been excellent and we are so relieved to know that we have their support should Nala require any further care.

I am so great full , to have these Dermatology specialist , I’ve seen the one in Vancouver , and then we were so fortunate to get the dermatologist , here in Victoria , My little Yorkie had a terrible ear infection in both ears , that I couldn’t get better , I thought my little dog was going to die , my dogs infection lasted 10 months so I took her to this medical specialist and Veterinarian was amazing , so good at what he does , I am so grateful, thank goodness for Him,

I am so incredibly thankful and appreciative of the care and effective treatment Dr. Defalque was able to provide to my cat. When I first brought him in he literally had no fur on an entire leg and my life revolved around changing bloody bandages and stress. Randy was so kind to help get us in on an emergency basis and I’m so thankful that within 6 weeks my cat has finally been able to live cone free after months and months of “jail”. This is a wonderful clinic and I’m over the moon to be able to let my kitten live his life free again ❤️ added a before and after!

Dr Dufalque is caring, knowledgeable, calm, and supportive. I have a little Frenchie with skin conditions and allergies, and Randy always tries to get me in as soon as he can, whenever I call. I sometimes email or call with questions, and I always receive a response. I know that the wait is long to see Dr. Dufalque and the clinic is busy, but they always make time for me and approach my dog with patience. She has fear aggression, and she loves Dr. Dufalque and gets excited everytime she sees him! It shocks me as she has such medical anxiety. I figure she must know how persistently he tries to help her and find solutions to her many allergy issues. So grateful for the support I have received, and continue to receive from this team!
