My Dog Fonzie suffered for 2 years from extreme allergies and skin infections and hair loss. I spent thousands of dollars at multiple Vets and another Dog Dermatologist. Fonzie is only 4 years old and looked like he was 14, and his health was waning. We were literally on our last straw. I had one (long and in depth) appointment with Dr Wong and did a series of tests. in that one appointment, she found the EXACT cause of the problems and diagnosed what everyone else had missed!! Within 2 weeks my dog was like he had a whole new lease on life! The transformation was incredible. Dr Wong had called me in the evenings, (on her own time) and writes incredibly detailed reports. I can not say enough good things about Dr Wong and this clinic!

I want to thank Dr. Korbelik and his team (Amber, Shay, everyone at the front desk) for all your help with our dog Satchmo. We were referred to NWVDS as Satchmo was doing poorly, he had lost all of his undercoat and most of his hair and was very itchy. We had been struggling with this problem for a long time, probably over a year almost two. Dr. Korbelik helped diagnose him with Cushings and found the right medication and dose for him. He was also able to diagnose a secondary bacterial infection. He prescribed antibiotics, a special shampoo and keeping his Cushings well managed with medication. The difference it has made for Satchmo's life is amazing! He has improved so much! His undercoat and hair grew back, he is not itchy, and happy! We can't thank Dr. Korbelik and his team enough for taking care of our dear Satchmo. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

I took my dog, Scooby, here today. Dr. Venessa Wong & vet tech, Thao Ho were so kind, patient, & caring with us. I felt reassured that I am giving him his best life. They were transparent with the costs, and even gave me a small discount for one of the tests that was negative. We are starting a new prescription food diet to test for allergies, as Scooby has had ongoing paw inflammation for months. I look forward to seeing them again for our follow-up appointment. Dr.Joseph Cordonier and his assistant Matt are so so lovely. Ive been to see them twice now for my Chihuahua Mix who has struggled with allergies for years. Ive seen numerous other vets over the years spending so much money only to be taken on a wild goose chase. Left with no cause or solution for my guy and just silly theories as to why my guy is itching himself to death. Thankfully, our current vet didnt pretend to know what she was talking about and instead referred us here. So thankful she did. Dr.Joseph Cordonier is a very knowledgeable young vet. He only speaks on what he knows. He is super kind and patient with my "nervous bean" and he really takes the time to listen and answer all questions and concerns. He is not pushy in treatment plans and offers options. It is so nice to go somewhere where your pet truly feels cared for.

I have three dogs with various skin issues. Dr. Defalque has been their dermatologist for a few years. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, empathic, and highly responsive to my pets’ needs. He is also genuinely concerned for the health of my dogs. To add to this, the technicians and administrative staff are very kind and compassionate. They demonstrate such warmth toward my dogs. Also important is the fact that this practice works very hard to minimize the costs of the care they provide. I am thankful for this because I have three little patients! If I could give North West Veterinary Dermatology Services six stars, I would.
