This is the best and most trusted auto shop I have ever been to in my life. As a woman who has been taken advantage of in the past (which is horrible) i do not have to be worried about that at North Road Auto. The best service, amazing customer service rep who is at the desk, incredible, talented and efficent mechanics. Thank you for your integrity and for ensuring I have a safe car to drive. Ladies - take your vehicles here! After feeling like I was being lied to by a dealership over and over again, I was recommended this shop a couple of years ago. Without disclosing what the dealership had told me, they confirmed exactly what I suspected - I did not need the services the dealership was pushing. Ever since then, I’ve taken my car here and have had nothing but great experiences. They are incredibly honest about what your car does or doesn’t need, and they work really hard to properly diagnose and repair issues - all for very reasonable prices. Don’t let the ‘no appointments’ deter you, as it almost did for me at first. I followed their advice to come first thing in the morning, and every time I have, my car has been diagnosed and/or repaired the same day. I actually prefer it now as it works well with my busy schedule, and if an issue comes up, I can simply bring my car in the next morning. I have taken my car in to the mechanic MORE often, and my vehicle maintenance costs have gone down - significantly. 10/10 Honest. Trustworthy. Great Value $

I've been coming here for a while (multiple oil changes and radiator swap). The radiator swap and oil changes are fine and the price were reasonable and I had no problems with the changes. However today I got my car in for a starter swap, I did't bother to call other places because I trusted this place to do work on my car given my previous positive experiences with them. But I was a little shocked by the price of the starter after the repair was done, 445 for just the new starter itself (non OEM, but an aftermarket part). Looking at Lordco and calling other auto shops they were charging a brand new starter for at max 300. I understand theres markup, but even after a 30% markup (on the call they told me they charge a 20-30% markup on parts) for a 250 starter should be at most 350$. After a call with them after the repair has been completed they told me there were other starters they could've used that costed less, even if its a rebuilt part (with less warranty). I just wish they offered them as an option in the first place, to me it seemed like that was the only option available. During the call the shop defended the price and assured me they weren't price gauging me and offered no price adjustments. To me it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. I will think twice now about bring the car in for major repairs in the future. Edit: When I asked for the quote for large repairs I think it’s fair to show me a void invoice with the cost breakdown on it. But that didn’t happen today as well.

This was my first time going here and they were really good! When I arrived, two mechanics came over and looked at my car issues (weird noises) right away in the parking lot before it even entered their shop. When it went to the shop to be fully diagnosed and fixed, they were really quick and accommodated my schedule. I dropped it off yesterday afternoon and got the car back this morning (had the alternator replaced). The part was expensive unfortunately, but their charge for labour was very reasonable. They were friendly and good communicators.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received at your shop. After an oil change was performed here (its first time) I noticed an oil leak underneath my vehicle shortly afterward. I promptly returned to this shop for a follow-up inspection. I was then informed that a- specifically, the oil cap part- had been bent due to “overuse” and that the entire component needed to be replaced, costing me $438. This explanation does not make sense to me, as I have never experienced any oil leakage prior to the oil change service at the other shop. It is highly likely that the part was either over-tightened or improper tools were used during the service, resulting in the damage. Such an issue should not arise immediately after a routine oil change if the work was carried out correctly. I believe the responsibility for the damage lies with your team, and it is unacceptable to shift the blame onto the customer with an unreasonable justification. I urge you to properly train your mechanics to prevent such incidents in the future and to take accountability when mistakes are made. I respectfully request a review of this situation and appropriate compensation for the unnecessary expense I incurred.
