I am not even a patient ( well my cat Simon ) at this clinic yet. However I called them yesterday because I had a scary incident where I felt my cat may have gotten into something highly toxic ( a broken snow globe can contain ethanol glycol which can be fatal to your pets ). Dr Douglas called me back and stayed on the phone with me for over 10 minutes going through his vet articles/ books etc and gave me all the information he had. He gave me helpful and also honest, realistic advice if things had gone badly. He was then so kind to follow up with me the next day to check in on Simon. Again we aren't even his patients yet. Many vets can unfortunately be very financially motivated, quick and removed from the heartache owning a pet can take on an owner. I truly feel this isn't the case with this Doctor or clinic. The reviews speak for themselves. I will be transferring my pets information to this clinic. I'm profoundly grateful of his kind, helpful and clearly passionate about animals and their owners way. This is the service and care we all hope for when it comes to our fur babies.

Have been going to North Road Animal Hospital for regular care and a couple emergencies through the past 5 years, and they've been excellent every time. Dr. Biernacki and his support staff have always displayed exceptional care and empathy, and have helped my little furball get through a couple of the worst days in his life. One of the best vet clinics I've ever worked with and would highly recommend.

I have been going to this clinic for over 15 years and we really like our vet and all the ladies that work there. We moved to Maple Ridge but still travel to Coquitlam because we like how we are treated there. My dog Kona is always so excited to go to the vet. He actually sits in the waiting room and whines till he sees the Dr.

Dr. Douglass was an excellent veterinarian. He was a great communicator, and clearly cared about the wellbeing of our dog Simon. He explained what was happening and why, and the various options open to us. We have experienced many vets who were clearly financially motivated, but Dr. Douglass clearly had the wellbeing of our pet as top priority, while also making it clear which financial expenses were over the top, nice to have, or necessary. The staff were also very warm and caring. Very glad we found this wonderful animal hospital.

Finding a trustworthy veterinarian who genuinely cares for your pet can be a challenge. After visiting numerous veterinarians in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, I can confidently say that Dr. Pawel Biernacki stands out as the best. Over a year and a half ago, a friend recommended him to me, and it was a decision I'll never regret. Dr. Pawel Biernacki is an incredibly honest and compassionate individual. He never tries to push unnecessary services or products on you. When it came to my 11-year-old Jatzu breed with a heart murmur, I was considering getting his teeth cleaned, which would require anesthesia. Prior to seeing Dr. Pawel Biernacki, I consulted with 4-5 different clinics, all of whom deemed it safe to proceed with the teeth cleaning. However, upon consulting with Dr. Pawel Biernacki, he strongly advised against it, deeming it too risky. Instead, he recommended an alternative method to clean my pet's teeth and minimize the accumulation of tartar. I cannot praise him enough. If you are in search of a reliable veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Pawel Biernacki.
