I had a very disappointing experience with this dental clinic, mainly because of the front desk staff. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely lacked basic courtesy. Instead of being helpful or welcoming, I was treated with attitude and impatience, which made the whole visit uncomfortable and frustrating. A dental clinic is already a place where people come feeling anxious, and the front desk is supposed to make things easier not worse. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. No matter how good the dentist might be, poor customer service at the front desk really ruins the entire experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve how they treat their patients.

I do not like to write bad reviews but this seemed important considering the cost involved. I used to think Dr Shacklock was great because of his bedside manner, it turns out his work is completely subpar. Several of my wife's crowns have come out and he even tried to claim this was because she was a tooth grinder. Other dentists have looked in her mouth and said there was no way. The repairs have cost even more money at other dentists because she no longer trusts him

I’ve been going to this dental office for years, but today’s experience was so disappointing it made us decide to switch dentists entirely. I usually wouldn’t go out of my way to leave this review but I wanted to make sure that other parents don’t have this awful experience for their children. I had booked what they call a “happy appointment” for my 3-year-old son which is a short visit meant to gently introduce him to the dental environment. From the start, scheduling was a nightmare. They canceled last minute due to being “short staffed,” but it became clear they deprioritized his visit and didn’t consider a child’s first dental experience important. After several reschedules and a lot of back-and-forth over the phone, I finally managed to get an appointment. I also made it very clear in advance that I did not want to give my three year old fluoride. When we arrived, all they did was push fluoride, ignoring my request. It was so frustrating communicating with the staff. The assistant who was supposed to lead the appointment seemed completely unprepared and confused. Then the dentist walked in, said a quick hello, showed my son some tools and that was it. When I went to the front to book a cleaning for him, I was told I was being charged for a full check-up for what was essentially a less than 5 minute visit with no meaningful interaction or care provided. It felt like a complete scam designed to bill for services not rendered. Sadly, this clinic has lost our trust. We’re taking our care to another clinic who will actually care for my sons teeth for long term.

This slim lady at the reception is so rude and mean! And this is not even the first time she’s being rude on the phone. She canceled my appointment and asked me to look for another clinic because of a person that was referred by me to this clinic missed few appointments, like what does that have to do with me? I don’t see the logic. I don’t usually like writing negative reviews but she differently deserves one.
