August 2025 - Disappointed After a Previous 5-Star Experience Six years ago, I left a glowing 5-star review for Mr. Swirl after receiving prompt, professional, and reasonably priced service. That positive experience was why I didn’t hesitate to call again recently for a leaking faucet repair. Unfortunately, my latest experience was completely different. I was shocked to receive an estimate of over $900 to repair or replace a simple leaking faucet. I even questioned the technician on-site to make sure there wasn’t some mistake because the amount seemed so excessive for what was clearly a minor repair. The technician was polite and professional, but I ultimately declined the repair because the cost simply didn’t make sense. The next day, I went to Rona and showed a sales associate a photo of the faucet. They immediately recognized it as one with a lifetime warranty and provided the replacement part free of charge. It took me less than five minutes to install, and the faucet has been working perfectly for the past three weeks with no issues whatsoever. I find it extremely disappointing that a loyal customer who once praised Mr. Swirl for fair pricing is now left questioning how such an INFLATED ESTIMATE could be given for such a simple repair. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this company in good conscience, as I fear others…especially those unfamiliar with plumbing costs, might approve such quotes without realizing there are much simpler, more affordable solutions. (6 years ago I left the below review - I NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY / I DID EMAIL THEM PRIOR TO ADJUSTING MY REVIEW BUT RECEIVED ZERO RESPONSE) Terrific service from the first phone call. David promptly returned my call during the evening and collected all the information for assessing my plumbing needs for my condo in Vancouver (thankfully it was a non-emergency) I'm located in Toronto and I rent the condo so I had to rely on previous customer reviews and I'm happy to report Mr Swirl IS 'The Friendly Plumber'! Andrea followed-up the next day confirming all the details and provided an accurate time of arrival. Ken arrived, provided a quote for approval and completed the work promptly. Ken ensured to inspect the completed work and confirmed there was no additional leaks. I hope not to need a plumber again any time soon but if I did I would ABSOLUTELY contact Mr Swirl again - professional, polite, reasonably priced and of course...friendly. Thanks again Mr Swirl team!

Beware of this company, they send a technician to assess a simple job that I ended up doing with another plumbing certified company for a third of the price. After quoting an outrageous price, the proceeded to try to collect $ 87.- for the call (twice the going rate!!) Totally unacceptable way of doing business. They can go all day long making outraegeous quotes and collecting $ 87.- a call

2024/12/10 I had a service call in August 2024, for a tank replacement. Service call was filled by Uppkar. Work was done well, cleaned up after himself, brought and removed the tank without damaging any walls or floor. I've had no issues with tank or work since the past 5 months.

Our technician was Harmanpreet. A very pleasent guy to talk with. He was professional and on time which I appreciated. He clearly communicated the work that was needed and answered all of my questions. Once the work was completed he asked me to inspect it and it was very well done. His office called me shorty after to take care of the payment. They are very efficient. I highly recommend Mr. Swirl and Harmanpreet Thank you.

Thanks Ali and Harleen! We had the emergency bathroom pipe issue, they came with their friendly smile and great attitude to help us, it happened in middle of the night and they were so helpful, contacted to the city line to figure what’s the problem, spent lots time in and out of the house to find out where it got clogged! After they solved the clogged pipe issue, they helped to clean and tidy the bathroom too! Again, thank you so much Ali and Harleen!
