Momentum Movement Academy operates a spacious 18,000 square foot facility in Port Coquitlam that includes a 100ft climbing wall, world‑class bouldering area, parkour zone, acrobatics space, and the Ninja Chess Club. The venue hosts evening events where adults attend fitness activities while children are entertained with food and games. My kids love it. The ball pit is nice but need to be careful. Minimal supervision is availablea d other peoples kids often run around too so be aware.

This place is a good fit for teens and for kids who are already familiar with this type of activity. For younger children, especially ages 4–8, I wouldn’t say it’s the best option. A lot of the equipment isn’t really adapted for smaller kids. Children have access to all areas, including both rooms, and the staff don’t keep a very close eye on them. The teens who help supervise are doing their best, but it’s more of a nominal oversight. I think it’s a fun spot for teenagers to spend an evening, and it’s suitable for kids who already train in similar sports. If you’re planning to bring a 4–8 year old and let them play independently, keep in mind that the environment isn’t tailored for younger children, and active supervision isn’t really provided. I’m sure this place can be great for structured classes or organized programs. P.S. If you order pizza for your child, just be aware it’s basically first come, first served. The local teens won’t hesitate to eat a whole pizza—haha. No hard feelings, just a fact!

Had our son's 8 year birthday party here Nov 2 2025. Everyone had a great time. The 2 people who led the kids in his party group around in different activities were great and very engaging. All the kids left sweaty and happy! They have tables and chairs set up for eagh party group. Its bring your own food/drinks. Recommended for birthday parties.

We love this place for their great idea to host a monthly prize pool chess tournament for all ages! Such a novel idea to pair snacks, chess, and parkour. There's also something really special about kids getting the opportunity to interact with adults who share a love of the same hobby. The staff member who runs the event and chess club is great- very patient, friendly, and engaged.
