I tried the minute key maker and it was amazing. Perfect cut and nice color coated keys.

I had three keys made from a brand new key that had not been used and worked smoothly in the lock. The new keys all take a considerable amount of jiggling to activate the lock mechanism. Pretty disappointed and will likely get a human to do the job next time.

I was a little skeptical that I had to insert the key into the machine myself however it’s super awesome that you get to see your key being cut and the monitor walks you through the steps. Old keys are usually worn down and no longer sharp so I was worried the new ones wouldn’t work, but all 4 keys I cut for different doors worked perfectly. I’m very impressed. It’s $3.99 for a regular key or you can pay a little extra for amazing designs and colours.

The ONLY reason is not 5 stars is it was hard to find a little more detail on where the kiosk would be in an entire mall, like what store it was in or a pic that showed some reference, would have been better. That said, I've used another machine, and a professional locksmith to copy a skeleton key that has one door that's trickier than the others only minute key got it right first time. Easy and accurate. It's where I will go from now on

I recently got a house key copied here. First time I tried, I had some issues trying to pay. So the Walmart customer service staff had to reset the machine. After the reset (maybe 5-10 min?), I tried again and was able to pay. Got the key copied and works well. Convenient location and price seems reasonable. $4.99 + taxes for simple brass key.
