Dr. Ghotbi and his team are great. Professional, helpful and friendly. The clinic is relaxing, clean and they have all the necessary equipment and technology. I will gladly recomend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

I strongly advise people to stay away from Mint Dental in Port Moody unless you are financially well-off. If you are a regular, blue-collar working person who relies on the Canada Dental Care Plan, this clinic is not transparent, not supportive, and not professional. I contacted the clinic two weeks in advance to specifically ask about coverage under the Canada Dental Care Plan and to properly schedule an exam, cleaning, and any necessary treatment. During the exam, I was told that I required three fillings, and these were scheduled. However, I was informed that the fillings could not be done until a cleaning was completed first. That is where the problems escalated. The dental cleaning was never properly completed. I had to see two different hygienists, neither of whom provided adequate care. The first hygienist spent an excessive amount of time unnecessarily poking my gums and repeatedly stated that she did not believe the cleaning could be finished in one appointment, despite having wasted nearly half the session. The second hygienist was rushed and not thorough at all, yet I was still charged as if a full, professional cleaning had been completed. To make matters worse, I was charged for polishing, charged extra time, and charged additional fees for fluoride, despite the fact that the cleaning itself remained incomplete. Between my out-of-pocket costs and the Canada Dental Care Plan credit, nearly $200 of my own money was spent on a cleaning that, to this day, is still unfinished. When I raised concerns about: the poor quality of the cleaning, being overcharged, and discrepancies in billing, the front desk staff responded in an extremely unprofessional manner. The receptionists laughed directly in my face, made no effort to explain or investigate the charges, and instead simply handed me the payment terminal and pressured me to tap my card. There was no willingness to help, no accountability, and no respect. After I formally complained that the second cleaning was not done properly and that I had been overcharged again, the clinic decided to cancel my scheduled fillings altogether. Shortly after, I received a letter stating that I was being dismissed as a patient. The letter framed the dismissal as being based on “everything that happened,” conveniently placing blame on me, rather than acknowledging the clinic’s own lack of professionalism, poor communication, and substandard care. As a result of their actions: My Canada Dental Care Plan credit has already been used I am left with an unfinished cleaning My fillings were canceled And I now have to start over at another clinic, paying out of pocket again for a new initial exam, new X-rays, and assessments that I already paid for at Mint Dental This has caused me real financial aggravation, unnecessary stress, and a major disruption to my dental care. Instead of attempting to understand the situation or resolve the issues professionally, the owner chose to dismiss me as a patient rather than take responsibility. This is a clear example of lack of professionalism, poor patient care, dismissive behavior, and aggressive billing practices. Mint Dental appears to cater only to clients who can afford unexpected costs without question and shows little regard for patients relying on public dental coverage. I would never recommend this clinic to my friends or family, and I strongly advise others to stay away.

It was my first time going to a dental clinic and I had the best experience with all the staff. I did cleaning, it was great. Dr Negin was super nice and generous. Special thank to her 🫶🏻 Check this place out of you're looking for a dental clinic for sure.

The staff here are friendly and kind, and the dentists are knowledgeable; I’ve been a patient at the office a few years now and have only had one mix-up with appointments where I ended up at the office with no appointment, and had to leave. Most recently, the Invisalign appts/services have been backed up and for some reason, I still don’t have my next set of trays… I’m waiting patiently though I’ve been wearing the last set of Invisalign trays since mid-Sept (it’s Dec tomorrow, and yes, my Invisalign are disgusting… 🤮) All I can do is wait, more patiently…

I had an amazing experience at Mint dental clinic . From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The office itself is spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Sanaz Najian was fantastic — they took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I’ve never felt more at ease during a dental visit. The level of care and attention to detail was outstanding, and I left feeling confident and happy with the results.
