I highly recommend Milani for any heating/plumbing expertise you might need. They were quick to get in touch following my contact with them, regarding an issue with an electric baseboard heater. Derrick, the heating tech, arrived promptly following our call. He was highly professional with a wonderful personality. He quickly diagnosed our problem and went out of his way to locate and quickly obtain needed parts. The repair went quickly and smoothly and we were very pleased with our interactions with Derrick and everyone who represented Milani.

A power surge and outage occurred at my house. Power was restored by Hydro, but there were some issues within the house. Afterward, I asked Milani Electrical & Solar (Electrician: Derrick) to review the condition of the electrical panel, circuit breakers, and give some insight on the outage mechanism and possible surge effects on appliances. I appreciated the quick and professional response by Milani and their experienced electrician.

Currently working through an issue with them regarding a power outage in a condo, and would currently recommend staying away from them at all costs. We have not had power for over a week, are currently displaced and staying in a hotel, and they are treating it like a routine repair with no urgency. The communication has been slow bordering on non-existent, and they keep blaming BC hydro despite BC hydro confirming they have not received paperwork from Milani. When Milani finally did contact BC hydro, they applied to complete the repair through the routine non-urgent process, drawing out the length of time displaced from home due to not having power. I’m not sure if this issue is being handled by the Burnaby or Vancouver campus, but my warning applies to both as they fall under the same large umbrella.

Gursewak (electrician): Gur is a very courteous and serviceable service provider. He came to fix my doorbell, and I was so impressed I requested additional service to replace eight thermostats in my home. He is an excellent worker and I will always recommend your company to others.

Not only was David prompt, but was super professional, and a great guy to deal with. He got the electrical work completed efficiently, and best of all, everything was tidy when he was done. Just a great experience overall
