On February 17, 2026, our beautiful cat Zack went across the rainbow bridge to see his family and friends. After 19 years of naps, snacks and cuddles, we had to make the hard decision of euthanizing our dear family member. Midtown Mobile Veterinary Hospice Services made the whole process comfortable and seamless. Elizabeth was gentle, kind and compassionate to Zack and everyone gathered. I can’t give enough praise to Mid Town and the entire team. Maria took my calls as I wavered with the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to my baby Rocco. It was a literal blessing that Rocco’s original vet (who moved on to Midtown) saw my name and asked to be with us for his final moments. Thank you Dr. Elizabeth Silk for your kindness, compassion and support during the most emotional time of my life. You were so thoughtful and gentle with my little boy and explained everything that would happen every minute. I chose aquamation - knowing I would receive 20% more of my baby’s ashes and it was better for the environment. Thank you to The entire team at Midtown Mobile VHS

Cannot recommend Midtown Mobile highly enough. We gifted our almost 16 year old sweet Cliff our last great act of love through them - Tamara was the vet who helped him transition, and she was incredibly attuned, compassionate, connective, gentle, and explained everything simply so we had an idea of what to expect amidst feeling afraid. The process was so much more calm and gentle than I expected. We took our Cliff for his final walk before she came over, so he was ready for a snack and bed by the time we had the appointment. A sedative was put in his final meal, and after eating in his bed, he settled down on his own for a rest. He fell into a deep, comfortable sleep, and Tamara supported the final transition with great tenderness - our Cliffy noticed nothing, had no pain, no fear, just seemed comfortable and very relaxed. Knowing he was so comfortable and content at home with us nearby - which is all he ever wanted - gives us solace in our continued grief. Using Midtown Mobile's services was the best thing we could have done help close our sweet Cliffy's final chapter. I would only use their service moving forward. Profound thanks to Tamara and Midtown Mobile.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Molly girl in October and we were devastated. Molly was a huge part of our family and story for over 14 years and saying goodbye was something we dreaded having to do. Midtown Mobile Veterinary Hospice Services and Dr. Tamara Skocylak made a horrible time a little easier to bear. All of the staff were caring, compassionate and acknowledged our grief. Dr. Tamara’s presence was calm and caring and her way with Molly (and my husband and i) was so sweet and compassionate. We were able to say goodbye to Molly in our home, in one of her favourite places at our own pace.

Absolutely incredible! The entire team at Midtown Mobile are angels in disguise. The level of compassion, care and empathy is unparallel. Facing the unthinkable and heartbreaking situation, engaging their services was the best decision ever! Tamara (Dr. Skocylak) was ever so gentle handling my beloved Sheba on her last journey. I will be forever greatfull. She even followed up with an email the next day remembering details of Sheba that I shared with her while I was still in a state of shock and overwhelmed with grief. Also included useful after pet lost support resources. The words can’t describe the gratitude I have for them. Under the dire circumstances, they all made it all a little bit more bearable. Thank you!
