I don’t usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but my experience at this salon was concerning enough that it needs to be documented. The stylist who did my hair was skilled and professional. Unfortunately, my interaction with the receptionist, Cassidy, completely ruined the visit. From the moment I arrived, Cassidy was dismissive and condescending. She interrupted me repeatedly, made sarcastic remarks, and seemed to single me out in front of others. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable or humiliated as a minority. Most concerning was that she treated me differently from other clients, making it clear that my heritage affected how she interacted with me. She also discussed other clients services loudly, creating an unprofessional and disrespectful atmosphere. A reception desk sets the tone for a business, and this interaction made the environment unwelcoming before my appointment even began. Given that this was not my first visit, I hope management addresses this promptly to ensure all staff consistently provide a professional and welcoming experience. I will not be returning and don’t want to spend more time on this situation.

Sydney is a true artist! My hair has never looked so good thanks to her. I've never been great at explaining exactly what I want but she has taken my gibberish and turned it into the old money style that I've been looking for. Plus she's so kind, funny and charismatic. Everyone there is also extremely supportive and accommodating. I had to change my appointment last minute due to IVF treatment and they were more than gracious. Looking forward to the next time I get pampered 🥰

I've been seeing Ashley at Mezzanine for about 15 years now. She's a lovely person and always does a great job on my hair. Over the years I've had several different cuts and she is great at all of them. I've recommended many friends to her and they've all been very happy as well. I have friends with very thick hair or curly hair or very straight hair or very fine hair, and Ashley does a great job for all of us!

Lindsey did an amazing job bringing life back to my hair! She’s so sweet and gentle, and I felt really comfortable the whole time. She’s very knowledgeable about both hair and scalp care, and I left my appointment feeling refreshed and confident. I highly recommend booking with Lindsey—you’ll be in great hands!

Lindsey is amazing, and I would most defiantly recommend her (if you are able to book with her, which I wasn’t so was given a recommendation of someone else in the salon), but not everyone there takes the time to care for their clients. Before pictures of what was said to be a professional balayage job, and a job that the owner stands behind, done by a stylist here. Unfortunately how I was treated I opted to get it fixed elsewhere. Someone from a different salon graciously offered a fix for me after (after photo) hearing my story online. Unfortunate experience.
