I have only amazing things to say about Hellen Nabi and her team at Metropolis Alterations. Hellen worked on my wedding gown, and the results were absolutely flawless, she made the alterations look completely seamless. My dress was quite a challenge: the corset-style top was several sizes too big, and the skirt had a lot of volume that needed to be adjusted. From our very first fitting, I could tell Hellen was highly experienced and incredibly knowledgeable. She immediately understood what needed to be done and offered suggestions not only to enhance the fit but also to ensure that I would be comfortable, able to move and dance freely on my wedding day without compromising the look of the dress. What truly impressed me was her attention to detail. My wedding gown had intricate design elements, and she managed to alter it so precisely that you would never know anything had been changed. The work was so clean and professional, her adjustments were practically invisible. I absolutely loved her work, and I will definitely be going back to her for other dresses I’ve been holding onto but haven’t been able to wear.
