Wow what an absolutely wonder experience we had at the Melon Hair Lounge. I took my niece for a well needed hair day and it was perfect. Kelsey and Jayme did such a fantastic job on our hair. It was affordable, and turned out gorgeous. They did a great job listening to us for what we were looking with each of us having long hair. 10/10 experience!

First time to Melon Hair Lounge to see Jayme and will definitely be back! Friendly , welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff who actually listen to what you want and take their time to do their best. Im very happy with my Fall colour and cut! Recommend 100% Thanks Jayme you did a great job!!

Brought my teen here to have her hair cut, thinned, and styled. We were greeted with a smile by the owner and felt super comfortable. My daughter is extremely particular about her hair and I worried she wouldn't get what what she asked for. The owner did my daughter's hair and perfectly emulated the picture my daughter brought in (she brought in the close up picture and the other is my daughter's finished hair). My daughter was so happy with her hair and asked to only go there to have her hair done moving forward. Looks like we will both be coming back and have found a new salon.

I went here requesting a pink toner for my blonde hair as my natural hair grows out. My plan has been to try and grow out my hair to have it eventually solid in my natural colour. The reason I went with this service was specifically to preserve my natural colour, dirty blonde. The toner was left in my hair for 45 minutes. I asked for a pastel blonde, but it came out dark violet. I thought it still looked ok at the time, so I didn’t complain that I didn’t get the right colour initially at the ends. After a few weeks of the toner washing out, I noticed my natural hair looked orange. I had hoped it was only off from the pink in my hair. The pink has all washed out and I see my natural colour was lifted more orange. I went to the salon hoping to have it fixed and coloured back to my natural colour. Kelsey tried to tell me that the colour, brassy orange, is my natural colour. There was no offer to fix it. She tried to blame me for the outcome saying this could have happened from the sun. I ended up going to another salon for a cut today, and she took pictures to show the damage the toner did to my natural colour. If you look at the photos you can clearly see my new roots coming in are a dirty blonde, which is my natural colour. I am not one to typically write bad reviews, but I am very disappointed in the service provided here. Additionally, the lack of accountability for the mistake and no offer to rectify it. Beware getting any toners done here if you aren’t wanting your colour permanently changed.
