These guys are busy because they are very good at what they do. I can put up with a little "gruffness" because I'm dealing with an auto service shop not a fancy boutique. They fixed my exhaust system professionally, at a very good price and didn't try to upsell me. Good honest service is what I got and I will be back.

My experience with Maxim Muffler and Brakes was extremely frustrating and costly. I called ahead to confirm that the rotors and pads I intended to purchase would be suitable for my vehicle. The mechanic explicitly told me, "Yeah, that's good." Trusting this confirmation, I purchased the parts and had my car towed to their shop for the installation (a job initially quoted around $140). The next morning, I received a call informing me that the parts I supplied did not fit. The mechanic then quoted $800 for the correct parts, a massive increase from what I had expected. I declined the service and asked them to simply reassemble the car so I could tow it elsewhere. To my shock, I was then told the total bill would be $200 just to put the car back together. The mechanic also admitted he had fixed a "seized caliper" without my authorization. I had not asked for any repair work, only the installation of the parts I provided. In the end, I paid $140 (the amount of the original quote for the full job) just to get my car back in the exact same disassembled state it was in before they touched it, plus unauthorized work was performed. I wasted time, money on towing, and was charged significantly for a brake job that never happened, based on misinformation provided by their staff. Zero stars for service and transparency. Avoid at all costs.

Whoever is answering the phone today has an attitude problem. Cut me off, raised his voice, sounded like he would rather be doing anything other than talk to a paying customer, our call didnt even last 30 seconds before he hung up on me. Feel free to call me back if you want to win my bussiness back. Im pretty easy to deal with. Look at my other reviews. I never leave 1 stars, unless it's deserved.

Took long for service. Got a diagnoses saying I needed a new catalytic converter soon but I went to different garage and they said I only needed a oxygen sensor. Replaced oxygen sensor and no more engines codes. Car running good with 200 dollar fix instead of 3000.00 dollar fix??

Went there on a Saturday morning. The only muffler open on a weekend! I was in and out within 40 minutes after Scot and Dorsy worked on the exhaust. Extremely professional and expert hands at work and polite demeanor! Will recommend them for a quick and perfect job on your vehicle!
