I recently scheduled a fall maintenance check-up for my furnace with Martensville Plumbing and Heating, and the overall experience, particularly regarding customer service, was highly disappointing. ​The service technician who performed the on-site maintenance was unpersonable and seemed uninterested in engaging or answering basic operational questions. I felt dismissed, which necessitated a follow-up call to the office to get the information I needed. ​My attempt to gain clarity from the office staff was equally frustrating. The lady who answered the phone could not answer any of my technical questions and promised to have the technician return my call. After waiting three days, I never received the promised callback. ​I called the office again this morning to specifically inquire about alternative furnace brands, as I was quoted a brand I did not wish to proceed with. The employee I spoke with was unpleasant and insisted that the company only carried that single brand, offering no helpful alternatives or demonstrating any willingness to discuss options. ​It just doesn't seem like they care about the customer experience. ​A professional service company should exhibit basic courtesy, provide timely follow-through, and offer knowledgeable support—both in the field and in the office. The pervasive lack of professionalism and poor customer service I experienced is why I will not be using Martensville Plumbing and Heating again.
