Mama Method Vancouver is a boutique Pilates and rehabilitative exercise studio located in Burnaby that specializes in prenatal and postpartum fitness for women. The studio offers classes that combine education, healing movement, sweat and community to support mothers during pregnancy, the postpartum period and motherhood. Classes are designed to improve posture, flexibility and strength while addressing common physical changes associated with pregnancy and childbirth. Our approach blends gentle movement with practical advice to empower mothers in their health journey.

I've only worked with Jennifer in postpartum after my second, but I wish I had known about her after my first! She is so knowledgeable about the human body (especially that pesky pelvic floor). During our sessions, I find that she puts together routines that challenge my body - but are also are gentle enough for where my body is at. She's also just a pleasure to chat with and to be around.

After becoming pregnant I decided to try pilates to help feel stronger and more prepared for birth (and postpartum!). I love my sessions with Jen - she's very supportive and tailors each workout. It's been a really positive experience getting into pilates.

Jen is truly amazing at what she does. She has supported me through long-standing challenges from a motor vehicle accident, helping me rebuild both strength and movement. As a former dancer, she has a deep understanding of the body, and I really resonate with her background. Each session feels thoughtfully customized to my needs, with her guidance always precise and encouraging. Jen has also been a tremendous support through my pregnancies and postpartum recovery. Her skill, compassion, and ability to meet me where I was at in every stage made such a difference. I feel stronger, more confident, and deeply grateful for her expertise and care. I highly recommend Jen to anyone looking to deepen their Pilates practice or begin their journey with a knowledgeable, caring, and inspiring instructor. Thank you Jen!

I found Jen while looking to ease back into exercise after having my baby. My main goals were to strengthen my core and pelvic floor, and improve my posture. Jen tailored every workout to target my specific needs and weak areas. She offers a great variety of exercises, which keeps the sessions engaging and makes the time fly by. It’s clear that Jen is highly experienced at what she does. I would absolutely recommend her!

I started working with Jen for postpartum recovery, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. She’s incredibly professional and helped tailor the exercises to suit my specific needs. I leave every session feeling great, and I can really see the benefits as the days go by. I only wish I had found her during my pregnancy! Highly recommend — 10/10!
