With nail salons (unless the first visit is egregiously bad), I wait am for a few visits before writing a review. The first two appointments at Lux Nails were acrylic fills with gel polish, and went well enough. The third visit was odd… after having a new set applied a month before, the technician insisted I needed an entire new set. After replacing every nail (with a bit more effort than the be might expect), the technician applied clear extensions rather than the off-white ones I had on before. Not the worst, but my nail color, once applied, was washed out and unappealing. One week later, one of the nails peeled off. Just went about its business elsewhere. At day 10, another nail did the same. My fourth and last visit involved two fixes for the nails that broke because I didn’t trust them to do anything else. I’m not big on reviewing people’s attitudes, but the three people I dealt with were unrelentingly rude (as if I had messed up my nails to make their day more difficult). Not only that, the replaced nails were done terribly: lumpy, the incorrect length… it was like being told to shove it, but with nail art. Even though I told them my concerns (in a fairly decent way: I’ve worked in retail, customers suck), they asked me to rebook for my next fill. Wut? This place isn’t cheap, they don’t listen, and they don’t do a good job. Photos of what my new set looked like when it the polish was taken off at 13 days.

So sweet! They were all so accommodating. Even practiced the nail art for me to make sure I liked it. My nails look fantastic, the shape structure and feel and art. They also make a great thia ice tea!

Mai is seriously the best nail artist ever! She’s so detailed, gentle, and creative — every set she does turns out perfect. My nails always last so long and I get compliments non-stop. 10/10 recommend her! 💖✨

This place is amazing! It is so beautiful inside and makes you feel pampered while still being casual. Everyone is so pleasant and the nail techs are extremely talented! Unbelievably so! If you're debating going here check out their website! They have their literally MASTERPIECES on their main page. Thats how I decided to cross the river and check it out. Its the best choice I could've made! I've found my new nail place and my new nail tech!

I have been going to Lux Nails for a few months now, and I love it. Jenny always does such an amazing job on my builder gel, and any designs! And the prices are definitely reasonable! Also the decorations are so cute inside, and everyone who works there has been so nice and helpful. Would 100% recommend!
