I got my nails done here this afternoon and I’m pretty impressed. I’ve jumped around nail salons while being up here for work and just have never found someone that puts the level of care into my nails that I expect. But today I finally left a Fort Mac nail salon with nothing but complaints. I believe it was Emily who did my nails.

This is my go to place for getting my nails done! I get acrylic and the odd pedicure. All of the staff are welcoming and pleasent. Tiffany is my go to nail tech, she is so talented and I leave happy every time I go. I have recommended Lux to many people as I often get compliments on my nails.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Lux Nails. I booked my appointment nearly two weeks in advance online and had confirmation to prove it. When I arrived, I was told I “didn’t have an appointment.” I showed the confirmation, and instead of trying to fix the situation, the woman at the front desk (Hellena, or whatever her name is) basically told me that because I booked online and didn’t call, she was going to prioritize other people over me. There was only one other person waiting, so this clearly wasn’t about being too busy. It was about poor customer service and zero accountability. This was supposed to be for a special day, and the way I was treated was honestly disgusting. Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude. There was also no supervisor or manager available to step in or help resolve the issue, which makes me question how this business is even run. First time here and definitely my last. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Gross experience.

This is my second set with Lux and omg they absolutely crushed it again! I asked for a green and red plaid Christmas set for the holidays and… They. Delivered. Super gentle around my natural nails (two had a chunk taken out. My own stupidity 🤦🏽‍♀️) but the accommodation and work around was perfection. I even had a last second decision to throw a charm on and there were so many options! For the price (under 90$) and the service, care, and quality I’d recommend this salon to anyone looking to get a fresh, fun set for any occasion!

It was my first time coming here. I would definitely recommend it! Tiffany did an amazing job, they came out just as I had wanted, she was super friendly and attentive and even listened to my lore as she worked! I am in love with this set and will definitely be coming back :)
