they cut so much of my hair off without asking or confirming if it was okay,, im so disappointed and upset with my hair and my experience. do NOT go here if you care about your hair!

Lulu cut my hair this morning. She did a fantastic job. She gave me the kind of trim I requested, and took all my dead ends off. My hair is so much healthier looking.

This place is amazing! Not only do they take their time, and have super good service, their pricing is really good too, $45 for a cut, a wash, and a style. I highly recommend them, the lady cutting my hair was very efficient, and very good at her job, her and her staff are super friendly and very kind! One of the best!

I said 3 separate times to 3 separate people I wanted a trim for my dead ends. I wanted to keep as long as I can. In 2 languages. The last time I had a major cut was 3ish years ago and the last trim was only a year ago. The photo with long hair was from 4 1/2 months ago. It cannot be more obvious just how much was cut off. My nearly hip length hair now barely goes past the tops of my shoulder blades. I was shown approximately 10-15cm of hair to trim off the bottom, and instead over 30cm has been cut. I clearly heard one of the other employees say "you've cut so much didn't she want a trim". I asked for wispy airy bangs, and I was given no bangs. The shortest hair in the bang area reaches my chin. At the end, my "bangs" were pushed back with hairspray after drying. What bangs are pushed away from the face like this? There was no effort to preserve length, knowing that we also asked to do a mask. Is the idea here that the mask is a scam, or that my request didn't matter? Every single part of the mask application was painful with harsh tugging and twisting. Afterwards, when I finally put my glasses on, I said "oh, it's very short" she just boldfaced lied and said it's still long, and my hair was so damaged at the ends it had to be cut and walked away. I don't think more than half my hair was damaged beyond repair when I can brush through all of it with a comb and only about half the hair at the end has visible split ends. Despite assuring us all three of us would be done at the same time, my sister sat with wet hair for over 40 minutes just on the side, and I similarly had long waiting times between steps. Not once was I asked "is this ok" or asked to check. I put my trust in her and I was sorely disappointed. I've never felt so terrible after a haircut for the last 2 decades. And that last one was over a trash can in an apartment kitchen with kitchen shears.
