I would not recommend Lifeways Wellness in North Battleford. I went in for pico laser removal of microblading and had a very poor experience with the provider, Melissa. The consultation was brief and did not adequately explain potential post-treatment outcomes. She also noted she would “crank up” the laser settings in hopes of completing treatment in a single session, which other reputable clinics later advised they would never recommend. After the treatment, my eyebrows were severely frosted and burned. When I asked how long this would last, Melissa stated it would remain until the hair grew out, laughed, and commented that I could shave my eyebrows if I was unhappy, which I found unprofessional and inappropriate. I experienced extreme pain, required pain medication and continuous icing, and woke the next morning with both eyes swollen shut. Due to the severity of the reaction, I was unable to leave my house or attend work. I was told this was normal; however, other reputable clinics later advised that this reaction was not normal. These clinics also reviewed the condition of my eyebrows following the treatment with Melissa and advised that the laser settings used were inappropriate, that the provider did not appear properly trained, and that I was fortunate not to have sustained permanent damage. I was also informed—and have since personally experienced—that frosting from pico laser treatment typically lasts only 1–3 minutes. Although the owner refunded the session, this experience left me with serious concerns about the clinic’s training, laser settings, and communication. Based on my experience and subsequent treatments elsewhere, I would not recommend this clinic or this provider.

Dermaplaning with Melissa was great, as it was with Vanessa. My skin feels wonderfully smooth afterwards! Conversation re face care very interesting with detailed explanations. Such a pleasant atmosphere. .

I work nearby and decided I needed to have a skin expert at my home away from home so I found Melissa! I have seen her a few times and she’s very professional, clean and organized, knows way more than I’ll ever dream to know about skin care! I trust her opinion and like her suggestions for me and my specific needs. (Plus her professional background makes it easy for me to trust that she knows her stuff!!) I am SO happy to have found Melissa at Lifeways Integrated Wellness in North Battleford!

Lifeways is an amazing business and we are lucky to have it in the Battlefords. Everyone there is amazing, kind and professional. I’ve had many treatments with Melissa and she is truly is amazing. Always happy to answer my questions. Love our visits. My skin has never looked better. Always happy so book any cosmetic procedure with Melissa or Vanessa. Thanks ladies.

I have a 6 month laser hair removal package and am LOVING IT! Melissa and Vanessa are super professional and make you feel comfortable when you are having procedures done. 5 stars, would highly recommend!

I just had my first cold plunge and infrared sauna experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full spectrum light therapy and the ability to play soothing relaxation music inside the sauna. All of these elements combined made for a wonderful experience, and I'm excited for many more sessions in the future!
