Brenda is losing her memory, and has no problem spreading disinformation to others in order to stall or even stop a project. The envelope engineer I used on my project, when I told him the problem with Brenda (without mentioning names, as I try to remain professional at all times) stated clearly that "it was obvious that engineer didn't know what they were doing. I have done many projects that require this type of detail and have never had a failure." Guess what, 5 years and still no failure on the envelope. All Brenda can do is stick with the basics, as soon as something more complicated comes along, she freaks out and runs like hell, while hurling insults at everyone. Stay far away from this outfit. CSA BSW know what they're doing, Brenda does not.

Brenda Shaw is one of the top engineers in Vancouver and extremely well regarded in the industry. As a professional building inspector, I have dealt with Brenda many times and her work is fantastic. Would highly recommend retaining her services for any engineering project.
