By far the best vet clinic and entire professional team. As a pet owner for over 40 years in multiple provinces - cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, random strays dropped off over the years - this was the best care I have seen to date for our current pup.

Saw Dr. Nelson for the 1st time today. Was very pleased with his overall demeanor, care and willingness to take the time to explain everything to me. Thank you so much for seeing my puppy today!!

New/last edit: I had to bring my dog in to get put down in April, this is never a good experience to start with. They don’t have sound proofing or anything in their rooms, so my last moments with my best friend were spent listening to a vet laugh and joke with another customer in the next room. They asked if I wanted to pay $300+ for cremation services, I know where the cremation place is, it’s a 5 minute drive and they charge $150. Not sure if I’ll be bringing our dogs here anymore. Edit: My parents had issues with their previous vet always wanting to do unnecessary cleanings of teeth (the cats teeth were fine) and they actually care what your animal needs. I was going to a vet office that’s 5-10 mins west of town, and they wouldn’t help with my dog’s skin infection, gave him a week of antibiotics and then wanted to do a bunch of expensive tests. Dr. Nelson realized that he had a bad skin infection and needed longer term antibiotics and that was all he needed, he was back to his happy wiener dog self. I realize that different dr’s might see things differently but some places just seem to want to charge you as much for as many things as possible, that isn’t this clinic. Original review: Dr Nelson and the staff are good! My parents have been bringing their cats here for years, and I needed a new vet last year for my senior dachshund (and my less senior dachshund) and they’ve been nothing but amazing to deal with.

Very expensive treatment and careless doctor. He had prescribed medicine for cat parasites for two weeks, and when the prescription ran out in only a week, I was told to buy a refill after he misprescribed after I had paid for seemingly the full prescription initially. I'm not going there again and I'd recommend you find a better vet where you don't have to pay as much for basic services

I have always taken my cat to Dr. Corey at Lawson Heights Animal Hospital. He is a great vet and never rushes you. He has a great way with cats putting mine totally at ease! The staff are friendly and professional! I highly recommend!!
