Hinako at Laque does some of the best nails in Vancouver. After trying multiple salons, this is the closest quality I’ve found to a true Russian manicure. Beyond her attention to the smallest details and high standards of work, she also has the sweetest personality and such a positive, calming energy. Highly recommend!!!

The salon is beautiful and the staff are friendly, but the service really fell short for the $65 I paid. I walked in without an appointment — it was empty at first, but once their scheduled clients arrived 5 minutesinto me sitting down, I felt rushed out. Both my manicure and pedicure were done in 20 minutes total. I know, because I paid for parking on the street for 45 mins, of which 30 mins is free. I asked for something simple ... no color or gel... just a clean-up and cuticle care. The pedicure was very basic, done dry mostly, cuticles clean up all done dry without a moisturizer solution (which left scratches on my nails), and my feet were dry again within 2 days. The manicure was similar — she used a filing machine directly on my natural nails, which isn’t great and can cause more buildup later...and it did, 5 days later (I literally went 5 days ago from the date of this post). I rarely leave reviews like this, but a week later I still felt disappointed. It wasn’t awful, just a VERY OK — rushed, basic, and not worth the price for what should’ve been an enjoyed experience. After all, that's why we go for these services, no? Definitely not going there again.

My new go to nail bar! Cosy, cute, affordable, good company, complimentary coffee, tea and drinks and non toxic! The best place to get non toxic, safer version of acrylic nails. I get the ‘rubber’ nails done and they last for 3-4 weeks and look beautiful! I always get compliments on my nails now and have been coming back here for months. Highly recommend 💅🩷

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Nail Salon! I can't recommend LAQUE Nail Bar enough. I've been going once a month for the past 4 months, and the experience has been amazing! I travel all the way from East Van just to come here because the service quality is unmatched. The staff is super friendly and professional, and the salon has such a welcoming atmosphere. My nails have never been so strong and long, all thanks to their amazing Rubber Nails technique. I've noticed such a huge difference in the health of my nails – they don’t break or chip like they used to! It’s a treatment that’s definitely worth it. Every visit has been perfect, and I always leave completely satisfied. If you're in the North Van area (or even nearby), you definitely need to check this place out! LAQUE Nail Bar has earned a loyal customer for sure.

VERY disappointed. I decided to try this place and I learned sometimes it’s best to stick to what you know it’s good. I told her twice to remove my previous gel fully and she was stubborn. So when I left one of the nails was lifting so I had to go back to get that nail re done. Some air bubbles left on a few of my nails which was annoying. Nail lengths were pretty uneven. Anyhow, couple days after and one nail is already chipping and the top coat is coming off from a couple nails. Overall a mediocre and unprofessional job. Save yourselves the time. They do nails that will look okay from afar but if you see closely the job is not well done. That is just my experience and I share it as I wish I went to spend my money elsewhere.
