Called in to get a safety inspection and was able to have it booked and done in the same day. Gurp was so kind and professional. The service was quick and straightforward, and very respectful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy business!

I booked a last minute appointment for an out-of-province inspection for a 40-year old car the Friday before a long weekend. When I arrived, I informed Gurpreet that I had just had the windshield replaced a couple of hours before (specifically for the inspection), to which he advised me that he would not be able to put the car up on the lift as the slight twisting of the body could damage the windshield sealing, which could cause future leaks. Thus he would not be able to complete the inspection that day. As disappointed as I was at this news, it obviously was not a decision made because of a lack of available time as Gurpreet proceeded to go through all of the aspects of the inspection he could, pointing out possible issues and offering helpful pointers on what he would be looking for during inspection. When finished, I asked him what I owed him for his time, and he told me that I owed nothing! Over the weekend I made corrections and repairs based on his suggestions and happily rebooked an appointment after the weekend. He then completed his inspection and collected his well-deserved fee. Thank you Gurpreet for making the out-of-province inspection experience informing and positive.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Langley Automotive Repair. After completing my RIV inspection, I needed an out-of-province inspection and contacted several local shops. Unfortunately, most were unable to accommodate me on the same day. That's when I called Langley Automotive Repair. The owner assured me they could perform the inspection immediately. To my surprise, the process was completed in less than 30 minutes, resulting in a failed report citing issues with my brakes. The owner was overly eager to persuade me to have the repairs done at his shop, which raised red flags. Intuition told me something wasn't right, so I decided to seek a second opinion. I booked an inspection with another shop, which took the time to thoroughly examine my vehicle, including removing the wheels. To my astonishment, the mechanic confirmed that my brakes were in excellent condition and did not require replacement. Langley Automotive Repair charged significantly more than the other shop and completed the inspection in a suspiciously short timeframe. Their insistence on unnecessary repairs is a clear indication of dishonesty and unethical business practices. I strongly advise potential customers to be wary of Langley Automotive Repair. Their behavior is unacceptable, and their actions demonstrate a complete disregard for customer trust.

Excellent service! Went to get my car inspected to register in British Columbia after moving from Ontario. This repair facility is licensed by the Provincial Government to approve inspections so I was able to get it inspected very quickly. The owner went above and beyond to get it done for me in time and to check different parts of the car. Highly recommend going to Gurp, and will be back for all my repairs.
