I asked them on the phone about the haircut if they can do or not and they told me yes! I thought this was Korean hair salon. I arrived there on time, waited like 30 minutes because they overbooked people. Asked them for a two block Korean style - the guy just gave me his own imaginary hair cut. The owners are also extremely rude talking loudly in the their vietnamese language and laughing at you when you ask them to make adjustments. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. There were times when hair particles entered my eyes and he didn’t even give me time to wipe it. They don’t sanitise the scissors or the shaving machine. The scissors are blunt and pulls your hair sometimes when they cut your hair 😂😂 I even saw the guy pass the shaver to his wife which he used to shave my hair and she used it to shave the other guys hair. Lol 😂 I don’t recommend this place for someone looking for good professional experience. The place is very dirty with hair everywhere on the floor and garbage disposed everywhere. 😂😂 This is one hella of a crazy experience. However, it will be an interesting story to tell to my friends 🤣🤣

Got my hair Japanese permanently straightened here 6-7 months ago and I am SO shocked! It turned out great when I first got it and to this day it still looks beautiful! The staff are so nice and are so gentle with ur hair! Will definitely come back for a touch up once it gets more noticeable!

I visited on Sunday and had the pleasure of working with Kevin, and I can confidently say I’ll be coming back! Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and handled my hair with expertise, even despite the language barrier. The bleaching process took a little time, but the results were absolutely worth it—the pink turned out stunning! My hair hasn’t felt this healthy in years. I’ll definitely be recommending you to my friends and family! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I only let the Vietnamese touch my hair. I’m trying to past on the same wisdom to my son. When we lived in Vietnam last year for 4 months, we would get a hair washed at our local hair salon twice a week. ( it’s hard to even wash your own hair when living there ) Kim’s place is a convenient spot in Burnaby Heights with parking in the back alley. Reasonably priced with fast but precise scissor work. After the first snip, I can usually tell if the barber gots any skills. Trust!
